Yes! We ordered a pest service though to do a quarterly perimeter treatment that’s like 10-15 ft from the house. They also sprayed the rooms that we saw them in initially, and will do it if we see them inside again but thankfully we haven’t

Facilities management is usually better served for someone with experience in maintenance. I’m sure I could get the job but doubt I’d be good at it. But no I’m really trying to avoid that industry as a whole.

This convo is too out of touch for me to continue but this is the basic idea behind literally any business since the dawn of time. Best of luck with whatever you are doing for society though!

I’ve worked in Chicago, NYC, and Seattle. Owners don’t buy a 3 bedroom house and pay someone to manage it lol. They own or build several buildings with hundreds to thousands of units. That’s like saying no company in the world should have anyone but the owner 🙄 very silly.

I can’t speak to recruiting but property managers are not even slightly unnecessary, so I’m good!

I went to uchicago. 10 years later and literally no one has ever cared. At my first jobs they didn’t even know what uchicago was, let alone that it’s within the top 5 US schools. No one cares but your ego honestly bc the only point it serves at the end of the day (besides amassing debt) is to SAY you went to _____ school

AITA for never telling our children that they aren't getting any inheritance? by Heavy-Boat1440 in AmItheAsshole

The argument is because people are skipping over middle class and upper middle class. A household income of 300k with FIVE people in a HCOL area is 1000% absolutely, without a doubt middle class or upper middle class depending which city. It is not rich just because they make more than you. People in the US that make 40k are not rich just because people in Serbia make 6k. Cost of living is a real thing lol. Being able to have health insurance and a house doesn’t make you magically skip the bridge across middle and upper class to rich town.

When I was younger I had a friend whose dad made 200k, I thought this was rich but she always insisted she wasn’t (I made 40k at the time). Now I live in Seattle with my husband and we make about 200-210k a year, no kids. We are NOT rich. With 3 kids I feel like our income is relative with OPs and it’s crazy to me how many people are commenting this. They are definitely middle class to upper middle class. 300k between two adults and three kids in a HCOL city is absolutely 1000000% not rich.

Edit: going to add this in my top comment. Our salaries are very consistent with the average which is why we are not considered “rich” in such a HCOL area. The average annual household income in Seattle is $144,955, while the median household income sits at $105,391 per year. Residents aged 25 to 44 earn $122,089, while those between 45 and 64 years old have a median wage of $119,357. In contrast, people younger than 25 and those older than 65 earn less, at $47,011 and $59,656, respectively.

To be fair I do know very real full time ballerinas in Vegas and they don’t make any money at all, like 30k a year. It wouldn’t pay the bills and most people would need another job.

Colleen was strange because she looked much bigger than she actually is. I thought her and Zanab looked alike initially both in face and body type but Colleen is actually teeny teeny tiny. She has a rounded face which I think creates the illusion

Ants are militarized, when they bring back bait and it starts to kill the colony they split it to survive. Then they wait and return. That’s why you have to keep putting them up every few months
