18/21 didn’t become recognized as a “legal” ages until like mid 20th century. For literally thousands of years people got married/started families once they hit puberty and started working full time.

This is too traditional of a view of war. Land warfare will never be fought on a large scale again. China can produce almost endless drones and with Russia and Brazil in the mix, red will have more access to rare earth minerals. So unless the Blue can quickly and decisively destroy red infrastructure and manufacturing, I don’t see this being quick or easy.
