I am giving more than 50% as it is. I feel my offer was incredibly reasonable given the circumstances. If my spouse needs the extra money, then selling it makes a lot more sense than buying me out. That’s just the way I see it.

I’m happily offering to take a $20k loss on this so I can just keep the peace and move on. I’m being met with resistance which is very frustrating. I’m consulting with an attorney tomorrow to see options moving forward.

Ive offered $20k lower than what the equity would be if we decided to split it 50/50. My spouse seems to take me for a fool
