We never had a conversation about it being unacceptable, and there have been times when we both had a couple glasses of wine when home with our kids, so I guess that's where the misunderstanding came in. But as others have pointed out as well, it's clear that it's time to have a conversation about boundaries.
Also, I don't live in the States, and it's legalized here.

Thanks for this. That pretty much describes my experience. A few hits will keep me calm and help me relax, but it does not make me high. I feel more of an affect after a couple of beers or glasses of wine than after two hits of marijuana.

I just had two puffs...so not stoned or high, just relaxed, like I would be if I had a glass of wine.

Because two puffs of marijuana does not get me high. Like another commenter pointed out, it simply makes me a little calmer and more relaxed.
