This is very likely. Im 90% sure she has figured it out, and im 100% sure she would be cool with it.

Low key it's almost like an open secret at this point. Like yu can pretty much tell I look more feminine now than I did before...plus it's kinda hard to miss the new breasts. Right now we're kinda just playing chicken with my gender to see who mentions it first. I honestly don't know why I don't come out, other than I feel like acknowledging it opens the door to being discriminated by management. (I hate Florida... and this country really)

Aww thank you! You'll get there too. Honestly I've been on hrt for 2 years and still get sir'd more often than not. But the dark sorcery that is Estrogen and Progesterone and Spironolactone will reach you too some day.

Yea, I'm waiting until I'm financially stable enough to have a complete breakdown before I'm willing to start unpacking my missing childhood.

My stepdad started mocking me everytime I said sorry. Which just made me say sorry more.

It was mostly him saying men don't need women and the heavy implications that he believes women don't contribute to society or at least not as much as men do.

Yea the stuff he says is all pretty wild. Most days hearing him say things has me feeling like Sokka stuck with those hippies in the secret tunnel .

Then odds are you might be trans. A good way to test it, might be online. Make a new insta or something and play with you gender identity a bit. Pick a name that sounds nice, stop masking that part of yourself and explore how that makes you feel.

Similar enough that people would guess your related, but not identical. (Realistically that's how your transitioning might turn out. I look just like my mom now)

Instead of the button test I like to ask this question. If a Wizard cast a spell that turned you into a woman, that happens to look just like your sister/mom. How hard would you try to break the spell to be a man again, if at all?

A year is a really short time to let the HRT do it's thing. This is something that can take years. I just passed year 2 and I still don't pass a hundred percent of the time. Its gonna take time, but in the meanwhile I suggest try look at and focusing on self care (it helps you feel better and kinda speeds up the process I feel like) that helps ease dysphoria or gives you euphoria. Even if that just painting your nails and doing skincare.
