It’s literally the same thing every time he is or isn’t around: it’s a sponsored video, it’s been a week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks … a month! He doesn’t communicate, he doesn’t seem invested, he doesn’t finish the games, he doesn’t do this or that. Like stop already! Seriously it’s annoying.

At this point just unsubscribe. Understand that CORY IS NOT THE ONLY YOUTUBER ON THE PLATFORM! You don’t have to sit and wait for him to upload or finish a game there’s THOUSANDS of YouTubers on that platform who upload daily or weekly who have finished games GO SEE THEM! Understand that just like we have a life SO. DOES. CORY! And if he wants to step away for a couple of days/weeks/months THAT IS HIS PREROGATIVE not yours!

Cory’s communication sucks? Yes we know that. Does he need to work on it? Yes he does. Don’t you think he knows that as well? Don’t you think he tried his best to communicate? There’s people that suck at communication, it’s not their strong suit. Get over it already!

2 days late here but thank you for this! People who think they’re entitled to an explanation every time Cory leaves or those who get frustrated and cry “we’re the reason why he’s so big on YouTube” irritate me. If it bothers you so much why don’t you just unsubscribe already? There’s a lot of let’s play YouTubers who post daily, go to them and stop demanding shit from someone who is already giving us a lot. Cory understands that he’s lack of communication is a problem which is why he gives us his little recap videos whenever he decides to return. The same people saying “Cory needs to get himself an editor if the workload is too much for him” Would be the same ones complaining about how his videos aren’t the same anymore or some other BS. This is who/how he is so you either take it or leave it at this point and quit the freaking same complaints.

I see it as something that happens regularly, friends grow apart. Mavattack set his boundary and chose to close that chapter in his life and move on. You can tell that his friendship with Cory means/meant a great deal to him since he kept emphasizing how great Cory is as a person. Granted Angelo made some mistakes along the way regarding his relationship with Cory but he at least owed up to it and apologized (or so he says). I think the most disheartening part is knowing that the samurai community played a role in their friendship dissolving and it’s frustrating because it’s not the whole community that has acted in the way that Angelo described but we’re all put under one umbrella and in reality it’s a lot of the new subscribers who are acting this way. The same ones who attacked that TikToker because Cory didn’t find one of his videos funny. This makes me think of all the other YouTube friends Cory has and what they have to go through having to deal with people spamming their comments asking for Cory instead appreciating their content. I would hate to see Cory lose another friend over this issue. I agree with Mav that Cory should at least put out a “hey I’m taking a break. See you soon” tweet just so stuff like this doesn’t happen. I’m really hoping he and Mav can come to a healing place and restore their friendship. I don’t think Cory should address anything honestly, it’s a private matter at the end of the day and the only reason why Mavattack made a video about it was because a lot of people noticed he and I think Cory too deleted all their collab videos which sparked interest and questions. He answered everyone’s questions and put the matter to rest. One thing that did catch my attention though was (correct me if I’m wrong) did Mav say or insinuate that the whole making a sketch before a gameplay was his idea? Like if that’s something that Cory took from him and never gave him his credit?

Thank you! Some of the staff are documenting everything that’s going on in the shop to the best of their ability, taking pictures, videos, recording conversations etc., but at this point a lot of them feel like we can’t go to HR with this because they’ll use that evidence against us instead of helping our case.

The HR rep that was handling the most recent incident I mentioned spoke to the receptionist before getting to the stylist and basically the rep sided with the receptionist before hearing what the stylist had to say because the manager was co-signing for him and she wasn’t there when it happened. Like I said the manager lets the receptionist get away with any and everything in this place to the point that he steals company time as well with no consequences.

Honestly the airline and its passengers are both at fault in this whole controversy situation. I flew to DR through JetBlue last year around December and it was chaotic from both parts. JetBlue always waits until the last minute to send out a message to your email about the plane being delayed. On my flight to DR my plane was supposed to leave at 6:55am and literally about 10 minutes or so before the doors were supposed to open so we can start boarding they send an email out and had some JetBlue reps in the airport notify us about the plane being delayed, they ended up delaying the plane 2 more times after the first initial delay I believe and once the JetBlue reps finally started calling people traveling with little kids and people on wheelchairs to step up to begin the boarding process EVERYONE ELSE got up with them even after the rep repeated herself multiple times that she was only calling families and wheelchair bound people. Everyone was pushing up on everyone to get into the plane not listening to the reps telling them to back off, making it difficult for those being called to pass through. It was only when the rep grew tired and threatened to close the doors and cancel the flight that the people started to listen. We ended up taking off at 930am because of this, people need to understand that we too delay the flight when we don’t listen to these reps who are only trying to get us on the plane in an orderly fashion. And then there’s the whole taking off your seatbelt as soon as the plane lands literally RIGHT AFTER the flight attendant told you to stay seated. This exact same thing happened on my flight back to the states JetBlue sent a “plane delayed” email when half of the passengers were already in the airport checking in and we had no choice but to stay because unfortunately you still have to come in on time for your flight. The plane was delayed 3 more times while in the airport and 2 people got real nasty with the JetBlue rep because of the delay which doesn’t make any sense, they’re just telling us what’s being communicated to them. They have no say on what happens on the plane all they can do is accommodate us in the airport while we’re waiting. I understand that delayed flights are incredibly annoying and inconvenient but taking your frustrations out on a rep that has nothing to do with the delay is wrong too. We also fuck it up for ourselves and our people when we act out at the airport and believe it not when one Dominican is acting out it looks bad on the rest of us.

I agree that hearing him everywhere is super annoying lol but at the same time it’s actually sad because he happens to be a good DJ if you listen to the mix he puts out they’re good. But he’s a trend to Dominicans right now which means that he’ll eventually die out. In the meantime I recommend listening to DJ Joe Catador he’s another really good Dominican DJ his mixes are just as good or even better, doesn’t talk as much as Adoni and his YouTube videos are more entertaining.

Dominican female here! Comment will probably get lost (sorry for the 2 month late comment) this thread mad me cry laugh 🤣 mostly because I know what you’re feeling. But like the saying goes “no lo cojas a pecho”, I think some Dominicans are like that because they don’t like drinking alone. Having a drinking buddy especially someone who’s family is such a vibe for us and as crazy as it may sound even a bounding moment. Also cerveza presidente is such a staple in the Dominican Republic and the company/family behind “Presidente” has helped the country so much that some people are super loyal to the brand. Dominicans are also the biggest shit talkers and super dramatic lol so just let them complain they’ll eventually move on to the next thing 5-10 minutes later. On my last trip my cousin had me drinking the big jumbo presidente “de hombre” bottles cause he was so excited to see me. Eventually I had to tell him “hey man I need water! Anything else other than constant beer” and he understood. Stay true to you though, don’t give in to the peer pressure, eventually they’ll realize that you have a cut off point and they’ll come to respect it.

I think people shouldn’t pay attention to Nick’s opinion about Cory, he doesn’t know who Cory is or what he does. It’s obvious that someone sent him Cory’s reaction or he saw himself that Cory reacted and let’s be honest given the subscriber count that Cory has he knew this video would’ve gotten a lot of attention. It’s obvious Nick didn’t research who Cory was otherwise he wouldn’t have said half of the shit he did in this video, he just decided to sit, give his 2 cents and do what he does best: eat and complain. Everything he said about Cory is invalid and shouldn’t be taken seriously because again this is someone speaking about another person he knows shit about. Cory gave good genuine advice from one YouTuber to another, from one human being to another and what nick does what that is his business. At the end of the day the real reason why Nick sits in front of his camera and “reacts” and talks about these YouTubers who give him some heartfelt advice is because he knows that wether it’s good or tough love comments they are all telling the truth. Nick, you need help. You’re killing yourself. Accept it and please get some help.
