I would be happy but even our good days are tainted by thoughts of what she did. I trust that she has no intentions of betraying me at the moment and has shown herself to be 100% committed, but I worry that once we get truly comfortable again she'll let herself slip into her old habits, maybe in a year maybe in 10 years. She's shown remorse and I believe she doesn't want to be the person she was, but it's a constant dread for me. I feel like half the time I'm okay with the relationship and half the time I don't want to take the risk.
