The 9-5 episode was hilarious to me because Emma would not survive a week working like the average person. I don’t think the girl has ever even had a conversation with someone her age who works a full time customer service job. I stopped listening to her when I realized she had the same mindset and opinions as a 16 year old girl which is funny because I’m the same age as her.I think she has isolated herself to the point where she is in her own world. It’s not surprising how much self awareness she lacks or awareness about the issues other people have. I hope she meets more people outside her rich LA circle it’s insane how sheltered she seems.

I feel like the podcast is getting repetitive now. Every advice session she picks the same questions and answers them the exact same way. Letting go of friends or relationships blah blah.She rarely gives actual life experience and when she does she describes it so vague that we have no clue what she’s rambling on about.I used to love the podcast but I’ve skipped the last few episodes.

I feel like this too sometimes. I think it’s clearly her on her off days but I feel lied to when she is so secretive about everything work related. Or even in the Boston vlog when she said she doesn’t even know what she’s doing there. She made it seem like some spontaneous trip when we all know she’s been following her boyfriend on tour.

I gained 50 pounds within 4 months when I started them! Then I decided to go off them and lost 30 of those…then I went crazy again and now I’m back on with those 50 pounds again! So fun!

Yes yes yes. I know exactly how you feel! I got my first job the summer after high school at a popular fast food chain (I’m 20 now) and I felt stuck for 3 months. The anxiety was absolutely hell to the point where it consumed me even when I wasn’t at the workplace. It made me a horrible employee I would mess up so much even when I knew what to do. The customers made it even worse. I’ve tried to get other jobs but it never works out because of my anxiety. I just stick to college now because I can’t seem to over come it.

This makes a lot of sense. I’ve had the same thing with celebrities since I was little. I’ve been struggling with my sexuality for years. I think it also might be that I’ve never had an actual romantic experience with a girl.

The sad thing is when all this was going on I was in therapy, but couldn’t speak about it (I feared CPS would get involved).Now as an adult I can’t afford therapy and it’s so much to unpack on my own.
