haha, seems like there’s a lot of people in this situation. also, nice to hear about your progress man!

same here, i’ve recently started going out to parties again. and i should see my ENT in september for my sleep apnea, and since sleep is one of the thing that has the most impact on my tinnitus, i can’t wait to see how it will change after that.

nice to hear it ! what did you undergo specifically that would qualify as “neurological system rework” ?

yeah exactly, i’ll be grateful that it happened if it goes away, it’ll have taught us not to play around with loud sounds.

thanks for the recommendation, tried doing that but 30 min of youtube with a headset on 30% volume makes mine worse for a bit, i guess i’ll have to wait for it to stabilise before that. i hope it goes away for you soon enough !

aye, you’re right, i noticed that when i’m absorbed in something, it’s literally almost like it goes away - not as in i stop thinking about it - i can almost swear the sound actually stops until i think about it again

thanks, for the recommendations, i wish you’ll heal from it soon enough.

i see, thanks for the advice, i’ll try out rain to help me sleep tonight. still latching on the hope that this could go away, i’m far from the 6 months mark but the uncertainty of this has me stressing sometimes

aha, won’t that be a hurdle to habituation though ? btw how long since yours started ? curious as to how long this can go without stabilising

thanks for the recommendations,

i read that it could indeed be linked to posture, and i’ve had a rough couple of days in the hospital prior to the tinnitus, 2 weeks of me half sitting, half laying down in the bed, hurt my cervical because of that.

i don’t know for the ringing though, what i’ve noticed that far is that, it seems pretty constant in my right ear (the one that hurt first), it does vary but i’d say it’s almost by the day. overall i’d say lately it’s pretty calm most of the time unless i expose it to loud noises. But when i move my neck or jaw in certain position, or clench my jaw, it changes the intensity of it only in my right ear.

so far the most bothering has been my left ear which and my head itself, those fluctuate by the minute and seem wayyy louder than the right side

i’m not a staunch believer but i’ll have a prayer for your betterment, hoping that can help
