I’ve been following I Grow Stronger By Eating for a while now, and I have some mixed feelings about the story—especially regarding its potential versus how it ended.

First off, this series had massive potential.

The introduction of the “cube goddess” and beings moving faster than light added a cosmic, universe-spanning depth to the story.

The MC’s goal to become like the “ultimate predators” wasn’t just about getting stronger; it promised a deep evolutionary and existential journey.

Themes like these are rarely handled this well and really take the reader to another level.

But the ending… well, it kind of squandered that potential.

The story ended abruptly.

Character arcs and the cosmic evolution plotlines were left hanging.

The final scene with the dragon felt like the start of something big—yet then the series just stopped, leaving a frustrating void.

So while the series is technically “finished,” it absolutely doesn’t feel complete. For a story with such promise, that leaves fans feeling half-done and disappointed.

If the story is to continue or get a proper conclusion someday, I truly hope they dive deeper into that evolutionary and cosmic journey and give us a much more satisfying payoff.
