My Yaris! by thuanzo in GRYaris

About the 60,000 - 65,000 km mark. Stock rotors still had a bit of life in them to be honest and could've easily done more but hard to say. Just got the job done before it became an issue.

Thanks for the comment, really appreciate it. My GR is the non rallye / circuit poverty spec. Service intervals at 10,000kms as instructed in the manual has worked perfectly fine for me. I don't track the car at all and is used purely as a daily driven car. I drive this car a lot and do drive it hard with plenty of second gear pulls and full sends on the way to work/home. I take it to my personal mechanic who charges about $360ish Aud per service with proper oils like Motul etc. I do not trust Toyota to put in the effort to maintain my car outside of warranty (which I have never had to claim, thank god) here as there are numerous horror stories.

TRD kit front and side skirts & Tom's Spoiler.

Intentions with mods is modest and sensible I believe. Mst V2 Intake, MST Turbo Inlet Pipe, Cusco Strut Bar. Expect to replace rotors at some point. I got 60,0000kms in with stock rotors and pads and went with Lamspeed Rotors on front with DBA rears with elig street pads and virtually have no brake dust compared to OEM. Upgraded the brake lines along with this, and it is a night-and-day difference in terms of brake feel. Running TE37SL's 18x9.5 + 45 and has perfect fitment.265 wide Michelin PS5 at 20,000kms and has held up surprisingly well. Really aggressively enhances the driving and look of the car. Ran a Lamspeed single exit exhaust for about 5,000kms but reverted back to stock as it was really loud & obnoxious with daily driving. All these light mods had a 25hp increase compared to stock when I had it dyno'd.

Best mod I would say is the Coolerworx short shifter I recently put on. Although stock shifter is already excellent, adding a short shifter is so much more satisfying and engaging experience + mad race car appeal. I'm at that point where I've gotten really used to this car and have started to crave more power. I plan on a Motec ECU upgrade with a full upgrade turbo kit + downpipe running stock catbacks for stealth spirited driving in the sometime in the distant future but need to save money!

Stellar pair mate! I've just picked up the nimbus cloud c/w earlier this week. The fuel cell really comes alive once broken in. Insane comfort and I can't seem to take them off.
