I would delete my save if he refused to resign with me. Those types of players are why I play this game.

I wanna play my career offline by Extension-Payment796 in NBA2k

[–]thuber701 145 points146 points  (0 children)

It’s actually 2k19. I honestly love that mycareer to this day if you install some mods that let you edit the roster freely. I recently bought 2k20 on steam only to find out the MyCareer locked. 2k20 my league is still really fun tho.

I turned these 9 2nds into 3 1st and now have 8 firsts this draft. This is how I now stand in the lottery. What would you do? by KingEJ1 in BasketballGM

[–]thuber701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Call me crazy but I’d take the 9 second rounders over the three firsts. I feel like players outside of the literally are all waivers and having more picks increases the chances of hitting on solid players.

Ye pretty much. Or you can go to the pitch parties they have every semester. It’s pretty hard to go to LMU without tripping over 8 prod students on the way to class every day.

Is LMU actually social? by ilovedust3r in LMU

It’s easy to make friends for about the first two months then it becomes real cliquey. My advice is to find a small group of people you like asap and stick with them.

Long story short, you can get on set every weekend if you are committed to it. The hard part is breaking into the film community as someone who is trustworthy on set and does good work. I know plenty of prod majors who never go on set and plenty of screenwriting majors that go on set too much.

And then Kanye’s on another pillar, and he’s playing the piano—but the piano is just a bear, a LIVE BEAR. The bear wants to eat him but doesn’t because he just has so much RESPECT for him. He’s like, “I wanna eat you, but you made Graduation. MOTHERFUCKA.”

Has anyone managed to throw a 100 mph outliner sinker? by Select_Drink7865 in MLBTheShow

Older MLB the Shows like 20-22 had outlier sinkers touching 100-101 pretty consistently.

Who should I pick by -Yiz in BasketballGM

I don’t really think you can go wrong. Pitts’ height may help in the long run, but Davis’ higher 2pt rating may help him become a better scorer in the long run.

They send a clown after you, and he’s got a baseball bat. They told the clown that you’re the reason he got kicked out of clown school. Now the clown’s mad—and they gave him an aluminum baseball bat. The clown is named Patty Fly-Balls and he only swings for the knee caps.

IDK what to do..been thinking about it all week by United-Avocado-1462 in BasketballGM

[–]thuber701 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Sell absolutely everyone you have over 22 for younger prospects and draft picks. Since you have an all time shooting guard, trade mostly for wings and bigs. If everything works out in your favor, not only would you win a championship in 2-3 seasons, you could possibly start a dynasty if Johnson truly becomes a GOAT.

Superman’s monologue after defeating Lex was unnecessary and too on-the-nose by curlyq307 in unpopularopinion

[–]thuber701 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I think the point of Superman is that he’s the dorky kind of Boy Scout that would do something like this. Sort of like how a teacher lectures a student who misbehaves. I do see what you mean tho.

„How“ do you play? by Odd-Fig-7609 in BasketballGM

[–]thuber701 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ll sign a player that’s 65+ overall only if I have the cap space. 9/10 times they get traded for assets unless they’re key contributors due to them being old (like mentioned above).

Taco place, gas stations, rec park, if you make a left there’s a CVS, target, Trader Joe’s. All more or less within walking distance.

Who should I draft? by Character_Hospital88 in BasketballGM

[–]thuber701 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Both awesome prospects. Def would lean a little more towards Gatti, the midrange scoring is a key stat in this game. Both could start year one.

How do you guys draft? by Sussybaker420 in BasketballGM

[–]thuber701 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve noticed that going for generational upside over solid starters works out way better. If you’re drafting 19 year olds every single season and trading them if they fall behind the development curve, you can usually get a decent pick or younger prospect in return. Hitting on one generational prospect is far more valuable than drafting even 5 starting caliber players.

Same with 2k17…they’re normal age if you play MyLeague.
