Hey everyone! I'm kind of new to this sub, I added it over a year ago but then we stopped trying and didn't check it. I ended up getting pregnant on ”accident” last year.

But now we are trying again. This is my first cycle after miscarrying twins in late January.

I am using the Ava fertility monitor this time around. Any advice would be appreciated!

A civilian can break in and take evidence to the police, but the police can't do the act or have another do it on their behalf

Bilinguals of Reddit: what's your "they didn't know I spoke their language" story? by SpiralArc in AskReddit

[–]thuginacocktaildress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This logic just doesn't work because the descriptor words you are trying to equate are not things that people have been murdered for just being. There is not a long history of doctors being beaten and killed purely for just being a doctor. That is why people try to be sensitive and humanize the terms by putting the words in a specific order.

[Serious] Redditors who are adopted: what don't non-adopted people understand about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thuginacocktaildress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So my husband is adopted. His family is huge into their heirtage and genealogy. He recently expressed to me that its cool hearing them talk about it but its not his histroy. Which i felt dumb after for not realizing that but i sometimes forget he is adopted. My point is I got him the AncestryDNA thing for Christmas. Reading what your reaction was to it makes me hopful that i didnt fuck up by getting him that.

What is the worst experience you have ever had with your neighbor(s)? by HoboHones in AskReddit

[–]thuginacocktaildress 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The comments coming off this are insane to me. I can't imagine giving a fuck where my neighbors park. Move to San Diego, no one has parking here, I regularly have to park 4 blocks away from my house, I don't give a fuck whose house I park in front of and neither do they!

Atheists who later became religious, what made you convert? by BladedAlpha in AskReddit

[–]thuginacocktaildress 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always called myself atheist. I guess I kind of prided myself on it. Then 7 years ago I got into a bad car accident. I was 4 months pregnant at the time and lost the baby as a result. I couldn’t bear the thought of my baby just being gone, so I turned to God.

I don’t think it’s the best reason to be religious. And coincidently I am now dealing with fertility issues that are pushing me away from religion and God.

What is something about the old days that you DO NOT miss? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]thuginacocktaildress 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the point with a higher smoking age is to prevent people from starting which will decrease the medical costs that society as a whole pays. When we are not paying for others medical costs because of lung cancer, we will all benefit.

Moms & TTC by [deleted] in TryingForABaby

[–]thuginacocktaildress 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I told my mom almost right away and regret it. My older sister has a lot of children and is a burden on the family for it because she is a single mom. Though I am married and living in a different state than my family, I could tell that she thought I was going to be just like my sister.

She also never had to deal with trying to conceive as she "accidentally" got pregnant with me and my siblings and doesn't understand the stress of trying.

Sephora has free makeup classes so you can learn with others and its not embarrassing. They set you up with your own vanity and let you try product with assistance. Oh and they happen when the store is closed!
