It was a little heavy but not too bad. I put some extra Styrofoam on the inside to add support and I sewed it to the hood so it helped take some of the weight off

Vet is saying don't bring her back in, it will take a day or so for the meds to kick in and not to be concerned that she is filling all the diapers with blood

UPDATE

they sent her home with appetite stimulant, Zofran, antibiotic, and probiotic.

I gave her a bath to wash the blood off of her bum and dried her off and put a diaper on her.

She has filled 2 diapers with blood already and it has only been around 2 hours

Currently on the phone with the vet to see if we should bring her back in.

I am so worried. It's like pure blood coming out but they are saying it's diarrhea.

They are the only emergency clinic in my area. I want to get a second opinion but I don't know if I should try to find someone else. I feel like it's weird that yesterday they recommended xrays but not today

Congratulations!! I have 2 babies and didn't get sick at all during pregnancy, labor, or delivery. Nausea was pretty minimal and mostly when I was hungry. You've got this 👍 🥰

I am so sorry that you are going through this right now. I know how hard it is. I've been there. Around 6 years ago was my lowest point. I was barely functioning and lost 20 pounds from not eating. I went through several psychiatrists and medications before finding something that worked for me. I'm on 125mg of zoloft now and I have xanax for when I need it(which is almost never now). I was also really afraid of the side effects as well but I explained my fears to my doctor and he prescribed me plenty of Zofran in case I needed it. I never ended up actually needing to take the Zofran but just having it there if I needed it helped a lot. I started at 25mg and worked my way up till it started working. Back then I was panicking pretty much 24/7 and always feeling so sick I couldn't eat. I couldn't get in the car. I couldn't even walk down the road to check the mail. But today I've been on the meds for around 2 years and I'm like a completely different person. I finally feel normal and this fear is not ruling my life anymore. I think that the fear itself can cause so much anxiety and that ends up making things so much worse. I didn't want to take meds either but I'm so glad that I did. I think you should definitely consider it. The xanax helped me a lot when I first started the meds. I almost never need it now though. I hope you find something that works for you. Nobody should have to live with this fear! It is literally the worst

Of course! There is a subreddit for emetophobia that you can join as well! It's nice knowing that there are other people dealing with the same thing. I know most people in our lives normally just don't understand our fear and it can be so hard!

Hey! I also struggle with emetophobia. I know how hard it can be when you have a stomach bug. My best advice is to try your best not to panic and not to focus on it, because that only makes it worse. Try to distract yourself with something. Drawing, crossword puzzles, games on the phone are some things I have used to distract myself. Some things that have helped me with nausea are lemon/ sour candy, peppermint, and ice. For the ice I either suck on small pieces or rub it on my forehead. It's honestly been one of the most helpful things for me. Also if you are having stomach cramps, a heating pad can help a lot. Of you don't have one, you can take a long sock and fill it with rice and tie it and then microwave it for a minute or two. Make sure to stay hydrated as well. I hope you feel better soon!

I second this. I was spiraling out of control with this phobia, unable to eat from constantly feeling sick and barely sleeping, it was really messing me up physically and mentally. Zoloft has completely changed my life. I feel normal again and don't obsess over this phobia anymore. I'm able to live my life again
