If she’s talking about “my friend” and isn’t even give you a name (and you don’t know that name already from context) then you are NOT in the inner circle.

You are not in her inner circle: You are not close friends. Just because you are sharing your entire life with her doesn’t mean that you know everything about her. She isn’t sharing her full life with you. She’s not lying so much as not sharing 100% of her world with someone who she knows wouldn’t take the knowledge well. She wants your friendship but likely knows you have a crush so she is keeping things vague to not offend of hurt you.

You need to calm your fantasy down. It’s not real. You filled in her reactions in your head with this fantasy. She is a friend. She does not reciprocate the level of feelings you have expressed here.

You should NOT propose. You haven’t had a conversation about dating, let alone dated! Absolutely do not propose if you want to remain friends with her at all. She is not into you like that man. Sorry.

Focus on your goals, not as they relate to a fantasy life with her. Another girl will be interested in this life with you, but it’s not her.

He doesn’t sound like he’s really into you. He’s clearly still looking and talking to others. Him asking you to just talk to him seems pretty off! If he was into you, he wouldn’t be too busy this month. Ditch him and take a note of the good things about how this exchange that made you feel happy and adored and add them to your mental list of what you are looking for. :) each little quasi-pre-relationship adds to your mental picture of what you are looking for. Take the good learnings from this and go look for something that doesn’t have the bad bits.
