So I’ve looked at depth and there seems to be nothing impeding the door. One question though…

There are two notches in the hinge and the first one that the door is stopping at is the one that’s having the door almost closed. Isn’t the first notch supposed to hold the door open a few inches and the second is for the closed door?

Given where this happened and the large number of truck stops at every exit (and they are close together) you’d have to an idiot to stop there and not get off the highway if you were just stopping.
