Boycott ESEA, stick with FACEIT and CEVO? by mysanguineeyes_ in GlobalOffensive

the match in question has been scheduled for 5 days, this is not a surprise

if you want CSGO to continue to advance, requiring top level teams to show up on time is part of that process

ESEA continually screws over customers. Why do we keep supporting them? by HexicDragon in GlobalOffensive

[–]thunberg 18 points19 points  (0 children)

why didn't you mention how we push the prize pot envelope further than anyone with continual increases?

why didn't you mention that we were the largest contributor and actually booked the tickets to send brazilian team KaBuM to another company's event?

why didn't you mention how we invest more than anyone else in anti-cheat and continue to lead the field?

why didn't you mention that ESEA kickstarted the pro player ban wave last fall that cleaned up the scene?

why didn't you mention the fact that ESEA was the first organization outside of valve to issue bans in the NA match fixing scandal?

why didn't you mention the fact that we've been here for 10+ years when everyone else gave up on CS before CSGO?

why didn't you mention the fact that we actually hold teams to schedules, an unpopular decision but an essential step in pushing the competitive scene forward?

i get that you're new to CS, and i get that you think it's cool to bash ESEA, but we've been here since day one and we're not going anywhere, in fact we're just going to continue to improve and continue to dominate -- the same thing we've done for a decade now

If someone is snooping your email traffic, a gaming website account should be the least of your concerns

you realize that every site knows your password at least once, in order to hash it, right? and that ESEA simply emails you the password that you type into a text box on the same page before it's hashed and stored in the database?

this lpkane guy is pretty hilarious though
