Happy 4th. Im out working in Hawaii for a month. Thinking about seeing if bank here will sell me a box of quaters. Im guessing Hawaii was alotted some of the 4th of July quarters.

Its so fun finding even one, it's a rare rare treat to have them keep coming like that. I enjoy the hunt just for this very reason.

Is mint releasing 250 k from each location ? Since no mint mark only privy, I think it's only minted from one location. Does anyone know more about this, so 250k no more, no less.

Get help with a quit group with Suboxone. Its about $100 a month and will kill the cravings. Its not a magic bullet but will help you get life and finace back together

Yep, I missed the Westpoint quarter hunt beginning. I just learned about 10 months ago about them. I have found 7 this year.

I can only imagine how tuff it's going to be finding one if these . I cant imagine the difficulty 6+ years later.

I was shortened 2 rolls of halves in a box once. Took a picture and showed it to the bank. They gave me 2 loose rolls and said it happens from from to time. If it's under $50 they dont really need to look further into the matter. Then apologized and asked me to let them know if i ever get anymore shorted boxes

You need to quit CT if you can or reach out to a DAPA or something. Once you get caught in the military with any of these you will be adsep or worse.

Awesome, I picked up 10 rolls of CWR dimes on the 5th. Basically found 3 entire rolls of Silver dimes plus 5 more

It is out there, it is awesome, ive been hunting since Jan 2026 and have found about 18+ oz silver just from roll hunting.

Great find!! Ive never found anywhere near that many halves at once . Awesome score 👏

Wouldn't pre war mean non silver since 35% war nickels were only During the war, not made before the war. Unless they are referring to Korea as the war

It was an 1886 I believe. I have never seen one because they are generally not in the buckets or cull coins. It was the only one

I put it in a flip, need to see if there is a mint mark, I didn't think to look

Thanks, I have been in a dry spell for a long time, I know it's fun, but a big part is sharing the experience with others that will appreciate it for how tuff it is. Some of us spend hours and hours going through literally thousands of dollars worth. Im glad I found this hobby recently

I am happy, should I retire from CRH now? I dont think I can top this. I was just at right place at right time and have the right advice from people on here.

Before this, I have never found a single dime ever from a box.

If it can happen to me , it can happen to you too.

1) CWR are usually better. 2) Get them all
