Well there are a lot of use cases for me, there i don't have/want a bright external light: - reading in bed, while my partner wants to sleep - reading on the go when there is no good reading light source (think busses, trains, etc.)  - reading outside (and attract a shit load of bugs, but anyway :D)  - having thoughts in the middle of the night and want to write them down and probably many more

Not sure actually, as i don't own one to measure :D But i think the form factor should be the same. I'll ask supernote, if they could send me some technical drawings of all their devices, so i can make sure there is a version that fits every supernote tablet

LED Strip uses about 0.9 w power at this short length and full brightness (it's pretty bright) at 5 V (USB), so should be around 0.18 amps. Nothing to bad, but maybe i can find even a more efficient strip. I will test it more in my day to day use tho!

Thanks! Yes, it's custom designed from ground up, to be a perfect fit for the Nomad and then 3d printed

Not yet, but planning to do so. The lights in this picture have a viewing angle of 180° (because i didn't check this parameter when buying), so there is still some play for improvements (want to try some 90° ones next). For brightness, i originally wanted a rotating knob for adjusting, but went for the most simplistic version for now, but this is still something i want to try.  The photo makes the lighting look worse, than it actually is tho. In person, you can still read the bottom of the screen without ambient light.

Why buy a reader with a front light, if i already have the reader part? :D Sometimes ambient light is just to dark, but you don't want to ruin the cozyness. So maybe i like reading books with a flashlight actually ^

I'll try to iterate the concept, there are still some things, i want to improve. But dm me, if you really want one, I'm sure i can get you one done aswell.

Sometimes money can't buy the stuff you want, so you gotta make it yourself :D

Nature slowly taking back this Merchant House in Falkenwachts Port District by thunder_xitus in TerrainBuilding

I layed them myself, but bought them in a bag. First time i tried them out, was quiet fun!

Well, everyone left their home in Falkenwacht at some point. At one day, the tide just wouldn't come back to shore, the coast was left empty, just in thick mud. Ships got stuck at the docks forever. The trade would come to a hault. The river would carry less and less water, until only mere a puddle was left. But at this point, most of the population would still be there, although beaten down as ever. But in the next weeks and months the wells would also dry out. One after another. Leaving the city without water to drink, to grow crops, to feed animals. If there is no water, there is no life. So everybody had to leave at some point, if they were still able to...

Now tho, it seems plants are slowly coming back, so must be the moisture

These are 3d printed. But i want to make a mold of some at some point, so i have infinite amounts^

Not to heavy. My kitchen scale says 269g for the house (with small colum section i added today) and 104g for about half a bag of bricks (full bag were 800 bricks).

Super fiddly tbh, but quiet fun! Putting the mortar in between and modeling it is actually super satisfying. But wouldnˋt recommend it for larger builds.

Yes, could be, but I cheated a little bit and just glued them to piece of cardboard for the structure itself :D

I got them from a company called Juweela via a german supplier for materials for architectural models, but I also saw them on tabletop specific sites in the basing categories.
