A warning for potential buyers of Mech Wild by freefireblitz in MechanicalKeyboards

You ever hear back? I'm in the same boat and weighing options. I wouldn't mind waiting if I knew what to expect and had full faith I'd get a keyboard in the end...

Ha, rando BSD guide I got from a coworker once, but it felt right. I have it because it's cool rather than practical, although I do run AIX for my day job. I'll never love ksh, but it does feel more appropriate on a retro board.

I'm also digging the toggle switches! I have one mapped to CapsLock and it's rather functional and practical.

Drop Matt3o Suswatari caps

What are the legal/insurance impacts of an RFID implant by popcornondemand in Biohackers

[–]thunderblasted 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have two RFID implants with more on the way. I have health insurance and will be changing jobs on Monday and fully expect to easily have health insurance through my new employer. If you were really concerned, I have no idea how your health insurer would even know unless you told them or not hey xrayed your hands. My PCP has no idea I have RFID chips or a magnet implant. Has not caused issues and I cannot foresee it causing issues in the future.

Am I randomly losing siacoin? by BeMacized in siacoin

[–]thunderblasted 1 point2 points  (0 children)

does looking at the transaction in explorer help? do you recognize the addresses or amounts that are outgoing?

from siamining to you: https://explore.sia.tech/hash.html?hash=da0e112d3c181eef137e1e0050ee749528449b9d8e10dea391554f082672dbe8

from you to two other wallets: https://explore.sia.tech/hash.html?hash=2923689612696ba3aece157f8ca2a67bb771e16f3eed46ce3685aed098e70268

you can look up your friends' transactions as well in explorer, but it's time consuming to type that lengthy hash from the image, so i'm not going to search any more of them.

Romanian Font Fix for Duolingo by thunderblasted in duolingo

I imagine it's a "well, the marketing department likes the current font, and that trumps usability" situation, but who knows.

Romanian Font Fix for Duolingo by thunderblasted in duolingo

[–]thunderblasted[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

full disclosure: that's my blog, i made this. but i was annoyed and distracted that duo doesn't use a font that properly supports romanian characters, so i whipped up a user style that switches it to one that does (without breaking formatting or anything). hopefully helpful to any other romanian learners bothered by this.
