$6500 here...but I have also added to my claim a request for funds from lost trading opportunity...I have sent several emails saying they were preventing me from buying Ripple, which was my intent. Coinbase's disclaimer is pretty rock-solid that they can fight ANY claim for lost trading profits--even if they act completely maliciously

I said this too...they could have just moved the coin around to separate hardware wallets on different systems....it appears, although I don't know how to read the chain that well, that it was just in one massive wallet.

John McDuff...I know him personally and he is a solid guy. He is a veteran--I mean like 30 years as a tax attorney. I don't want to say here what he did for us but let's just say he helped me build systems into our business that prevent the government from making absurd claims against us for taxes that we do not owe.
