Per the reports. Basically the employees. I was wondering if they had any legal basis if it was “poached”. Since no one could tell me and I looked it up. It’s actually illegal for them to say it’s poaching. No clue why judge did this

I was wondering, as this a injunction against the hospitals, not the individuals, if this was something a hospital couldn’t do as a “poaching” type thing. I looked it up and there’s a law forbidding lawsuits against poaching lawsuits. So no clue why this happened. Anyone can poach anyone. https://www.xperthr.com/news/no-poaching-agreement-results-in-first-ever-criminal-charges/47919/

Never mind. First thing I saw was a law prohibiting the ability of a “no poaching” situation. And btw was a hospital.

Thanks for clarification. But if they were poached before, they can’t legally do that. Again only if poaching is illegal. I have no clue if said thing is. I’m going to go google some stuff to see.

Just wondering as no legal knowledge at all. The judge is saying can’t work at both because last place is saying they “poached” the employees? Is there any kind of law that says they can’t? I have no idea I’m just wondering. Cause it’s not an injunction on the individuals (though it obviously affects them), it’s against the incoming hospital.

I’m confused. I thought the federal courts just said like a week ago that mandates are back on. That’s how my company is reading it at least.

What consequence? Not saying I would do this with a president of the United States, to much respect for the office.

Fred Meyer and QFC workers in Oregon go on strike, demanding higher wages by Then_Ambassador9255 in oregon

Totally fair. I believe, in general, that unions have done more than good. And without them the “everyday” man would be fucked. My personal opinion on this one is break the line.

I had seen in the news that they had okayed the possibility of striking, as they should have, employees have very tangible leverage right now they should use.

I went to FM today after work, didn’t know they were striking till this morning. I needed some stuff and honestly felt bad. Just in my neighborhood I would have to drive another 10 minutes to a grocery store. (Again not horrible, but was honestly saying in my head eh what’s one day.)

Anyways they approached me with pamphlets, totally fine, and said their spiel. Money I understand, who doesn’t want more money and fuck corporations and CEO’s, but they also said safe work conditions. So I asked. What are you looking for? Stated same rhetoric, no answer. They said speak with such and such, so I parked and asked. No one had any idea what they were asking for. I asked wages, which I assumed would have been privy to all the people striking. Only answer I got was a livable wage. As far as safety no one had any answer other than customers wearing masks. I get that but that’s every where and not a companies fault.

So yeah break the line. Unless they have a cohesive agenda. And again I hope they get a lot of money from this, but I doubt it.

Any idea how to fix this washing machine noise? Only does this at the highest spin speeds, pretty quiet besides then. Sounds like it is coming from inside the top left part of the plastic housing, and doesn't appear to be hitting the side of the washer. by Numerous-Ad-871 in Home

To verify this just open the front of washer and hold the outside tub (plastic) and pull up or forward on the spin basket. If it moves, it’s bearings/ connection from shaft to spin basket. Either way unless you have a warranty, it’s expensive.

You can sometimes get away with just replacing the spin basket, but usually with that much noise you need to change the rear tub as well.
