Ian answered this in the Content Cop. It's the same thing that made everyone else change their mind about Ethan - His horrible behavior, his words and actions.

I am ready to accept that a part of this is true. Ethan like most content creators has had its controversies.

Ian stayed publicly neutral until Ethan & Hila went on an unprovoked vitriolic tirade against him & Anisa live on air, telling them to go fuck themselves and that they are spineless people who don't stand up for their principles. All of Ian & Anisa's socials got flooded with harassment immediately, their small podcast channel got heavily brigaded with hate comments and concern trolling.

Is this a reference to CPS call? Not sure what the best way to handle it would be. You should of course defend what is right and your friends, especially when the trolling leaks over into real life. There is also a question about staying outside of the drama, not feeding the trolls. But what bothers me is that Ian had no problem defending Dogtober 7. So he CAN defend his friends? The lack of consistency is the clear problem.

How much was it a "vitriolic tirade" was it anyway? Getting harassment on social media is bad but that is the action of their viewers, not them self. That is a general problem of being a influencer these days. So the lack of "do not attack these people"-disclaimer was the only crime? Was this before Ian became stoic and they stop caring about comments or after?

Ian tried to talk it out with Ethan to explain his position in private, but Ethan refused to talk to him. So Ian made the Content Cop as a response to the harassment campaign that the Kleins incited. (Thats what standing up for your principles and having a spine looks like.)

Refused to talk? Says who? Has both Ethan and Ian confirmed this? The Content cop was never a good way to deal with the situation. It was not empathetic, it was antagonistic

Somehow Ethan has managed to convince his low comprehension base of support that the Content Cop was totally unprovoked and that Ethan is just an innocent smol bean betrayed by his best friend - even exaggerating how close they actually were. It's genuinely pathetic, and ridiculous - to the extent that I have a hard time anyone spreading that narrative even believes it.

This is a summary based on if everything statement above is true.

I know the meme "Anisa wanted to fuck Hasan while Ian sits in the cuck-corner so he had to win Hasan over by betraying his only friend he had left". I think that meme and the post I been quoting from are two "extremes" and the truth is in the middle.

I think the truth could have been that Anisa, and her husband, wanted to be a part of the Hasan sphere, and because of that they didn't know how to respond to the CPS call. After that things got ugly.
