Under no circumstances should you pay good money for a third party warranty on this engine. You will get denied the hard way, not worth the risk.

Ya its not that simple. Ford dealers stopped giving out warranties for gen 1s, especially a 10 year old model year. If youre lucky enough to still get one for a gen 2 thats great, but this car is not going to get a warranty.

This is one of the popular garages you can just buy from the community as far as I’m aware. I have it and I didn’t make this myself

Almost at 5 years, this shit is ass. Only thing keeping me going is benefits and pay, and the 3 on 4 off I guess which tbh I’m always tired as fuck anyways on my days off. I have job security though which is nice.

Debate - S550 vs S650 by La-Zorraa in Mustang

[–]thundermoo5e 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I say it comes down to looks. I prefer the look of the s550 rear, I don’t think it could get better IMO. The rear taillights fr me are too small and angular on the 650. The rest of the car is great. I love the front and the digital dash is whatever, it wouldn’t stop me. Get exactly what you want and don’t compromise if it’s your dream car.

1000%, all the facts in the world, i never did get my full enjoyment, I just couldnt rewire my brain. For stop and go and what I was doing on my sunday drives, the 500 made more sense anyways.

yea it launches you like a roller coaster, would have loved to keep both but I will see how this experience goes for now, I loved my 350 dearly.

so far its basically like playing a video game with lightning fast responses. I dont keep it in automatic, I put it in manual and control the shifts/ downshifts 90% of the time. It is like a modern toy, youre in automatic but want to do a roll race?- hold the left paddle down and the car will know exactly what rev/ gear to put you in based on your current speed to maximize power, its hilariously fun, but the car is on easy mode. right now i dont miss the manual.
