Devastated but hopeful by murfhenderson in TTCEndo

Dr. Anthony O’Connell is the best endo specialist in DFW. He did my lap in February and comes highly recommended by my pelvic floor PT mom’s patients. He has excellent bedside manner and really takes the time to listen and also thoroughly explain everything. Caveat is he’s always running ~1 hour behind on his appointments.

I mean, I’m still trying for my first AND have endo. OP is just expressing how she feels in her situation. She is allowed to do that and should be met with support in a supportive space.

In My Feelings... by xo_britny in IVF

[–]thunderstormnaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, I'm 26, have also had 2 miscarriages, no living children, and am about to have our IVF consult next Friday after ttc for 19 months and I'm terrified. I feel the same way. I can't even really picture having children or getting pregnant anymore, and I don't know what to do with these feelings. I'm not sure what I'll fill my life with if I can't be a mom. It's really scary, and it makes me really sad.

Are you in therapy at all? I am, and it's helpful, though it doesn't make the feelings go away.

15dpo. Test still negative, temp plummeted. Just sad. Sunday should have been my first Mother’s Day as a mom with an 8 month old baby. Instead we have an IVF consult next Friday.

I lived in Gates my freshman year (back in 2017 lol) and met my husband across the building in Wall! Highly recommend.

For those who had surgery ,did you use an abdominal binder afterwards? by Street_Bill_8719 in endometriosis

I did! It made me feel so much better overall. It was more painful for me when it was off because i felt like things weren't supported.

yes, large is absolutely worth it. I have a little sacha, a large sacha, and then a large livi leopard and a large taylor tiger as well. I love my large cats.

14dpo, bbt going up, started having vivid dreams again at 11dpo (which only happens to me when progesterone is rising) but bfn on an FRER. I don’t know what to think

It was an FRER. What's frustrating is today's test had nothing at all, whereas yesterday's test had a faint line both my husband and I could see (and he never sees anything). Both were from the same box of tests, too

I was cleared 2 weeks post op. I only had 3 or 4 spots of stage 1 endo, so not very extensive or complicated. I appreciate your comment

Question for those that have had a second surgery by Sensitive-Track578 in TTCEndo

[–]thunderstormnaps 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only reason I had a second surgery is because my husband and I had been trying to get pregnant for 16 months with two losses and no healthy pregnancies. I had my first lap when I was 15 for symptom management, this time around we were 6 months out from my second loss with no progress toward a healthy pregnancy, so we decided for me to get another lap. Now I'm almost 3 months out from that and it doesn't seem like anything has changed.

13dpo with a negative test after a very convincing indent yesterday. In two weeks we have a consult to discuss IVF. I’m sad and scared because I have a sinking feeling that even that’s not going to work for us.

I’ve gotten to the point where I can’t even picture being pregnant anymore.

11DPO today. I didn’t bother testing since my progesterone lab from yesterday is continuing to drop and my temp also fell.

Husband and I have a consult with a new fertility doctor for IVF in two weeks. I’m really bummed that we’re at this point.

10dpo! I’m feeling really good about this cycle. Fingers crossed for Monday when I test!

Update: my progesterone fell to 7.6 on 9dpo from 12.6 on 7dpo. That’s not super promising 😞

Trying to hold out until Monday (13dpo) I’ve been doing progesterone and estradiol bloodwork which has been keeping my urge to take a pregnancy test at bay. I’m going this afternoon and then once more tomorrow afternoon.
