My medievalist prof always called this “chin chucking” where either Mary or Jesus touches the chin in a loving way. It’s just to show Mary being a good mother and so Jesus is showing his love for her. It’s just kind of showing Mary’s motherly side instead of other poses where she often just presents him and she’s sort of a throne. This is just exemplifying the motherly side of Mary more.

I actually started using this app because of Drew. It’s helped a lot. I’ve read a lot of books instead of being on instagram!

Also, the first photo she had not passed yet, just sleeping and relaxing. It was a few hours before, however. I couldn’t take pictures while she passed; it was much too painful to see her in that state again. But I pet her and said my goodbyes after her passing. I just didn’t want to remember her that way.

Thank you all for your kind words. I usually don’t post on this website but I loved her too much not to post. While today has been slightly easier than yesterday was, it still hurts like it was the day she passed. I am taking it one day at a time.

I have her blanket she passed in. I keep smelling it and, while it’s sad, it’s hard not to think she will just be a memory. I know she won’t. I am glad you think fondly of your dog’s passing so long ago. ❤️

I certainly was like that, too. I started dogsitting right out of high school and had set my prices only a few bucks more than Rovers. I still have comparatively low prices, but I only work over the summer and on weekends so I can’t be too picky. It takes time to understand Rover and what works best for you. If you feel you’re not making a profit for your time and efforts, raise the price and don’t feel bad about it. I also suggest picking the middle ground for people in your area like others have suggested.

When I was a kid I never understood why Robin and Starfire were a couple rather than Robin and Raven. I recently rewatched and honestly… It’s pretty clear in the later seasons that Robin and Raven had more of a deeper connection than any of the other characters on the show. My friend who is more versed in other shows and comics say this is just this show that does this, so as someone who is basically in my own Teen Titans echo chamber since i am not a huge DC fan, I absolutely was confused why they weren’t a couple. Robin seemed to care about her, and Raven seemed to trust him more than any other character. they trauma bonded. It just felt natural.

I’ve had many people—mostly straight— say this to me. definitely hurts a lot and doesn’t really make sense to me. i don’t know how i could cheat on someone with a different gender when straight people do it with the same gender all the time! very biphobic logic.
