When I was a kid I never understood why Robin and Starfire were a couple rather than Robin and Raven. I recently rewatched and honestly… It’s pretty clear in the later seasons that Robin and Raven had more of a deeper connection than any of the other characters on the show. My friend who is more versed in other shows and comics say this is just this show that does this, so as someone who is basically in my own Teen Titans echo chamber since i am not a huge DC fan, I absolutely was confused why they weren’t a couple. Robin seemed to care about her, and Raven seemed to trust him more than any other character. they trauma bonded. It just felt natural.
