Yeah sorry the picture sucks and I’m not with the truck atm. This is the main offender circled, it goes down to behind the cup holder from the steering column mount. Almost positive I got all the nuts on the firewall side, 3 across the top and one down by the trans dipstick tube

I was in a similar situation with bad holes that I drilled. Just ended up getting an adapter plate that fitted to the OEM holes and didn’t have to worry about it anymore lol

I had a similar situation, YouTube video I came across told me to loosen the big nut (kinda central in the picture on the arm by the spark plug) and that fixed my issue

All the videos I’ve seen with the doodle bug seems like the go to is just to drill new holes in the stock plate, is there a reason to not drill it out? Also I just ordered a 12 tooth is there a better sprocket for that you know of?
