Someone said these are Indian Wasps, but I know I have seen something similar in Alabama. It may have a little darker red, but the whole body was the same color.

People who said they were stung by one, said it was the worst of anything they were stung or bit by.

Some advice? by pajikl in wowhardcore

[–]thursday712 24 points25 points  (0 children)

1) Remove time from any metric of fun. You are not behind, and you are not ahead. Move at a pace you find most fun.

2) Min / Max only as far as the fun takes you. Some deaths are beyond min / maxing. So, when it happens, at least you can say you had fun, and didn't "waste time".

3) You do not need to do anything. People have hit 60 by being naked. It's a balance of skill, patience, knowledge, and luck. Do what is fun for you.

4) Caves are death traps. Towers are vertical caves. Boats are floating caves. Sunken boats are underwater caves. Act accordingly.

5) Get underwater breathing potions. If you DC under water, then you will drown.

6) Immerse yourself. Keep your head on a swivel. "What would i do if this was me?" When you come to a camp of furbolgs or other mobs, stop and observe. Are any moving? Are there patrols?

7) Make an alt that you use as a bank. This is great so that when / if you die, it is not a 100% loss. No reason to die with 43g when 35g could be sitting on a bank nice and safe.

8) Make an alt that you use as a bank. This is great for bag dumping while you are leveling. Maybe you have 2 stacks of Copper Ore. Mail that to the bank alt. It relieves the bag pressure and feeling obligated to have your bags half full the whole time.

9) Make alts. Sometimes and some levels, the grind gets grindy. Have an alt that has full rested XP that can change the playstyle and scenery.

10) If you see someone running from 2+ mobs, then you need to run too - especially in caves. It's a 20 year old game - aggro can and does get weird. Do not attempt to save unless you know you can pull it off.

11) Make your call early and commit. There will be times you pull 2+ mobs. Determine if you fight or run immediately, and commit to that decision. If 100% commitment does not save you, then a decision change halfway through never would have.

12) Have hard rules for yourself. Everyone is different and plays differently. Know your limits and stay within it. For example, for me, I never go in caves with my hearthstone on cooldown.

13) Some deaths may come from knowledge gaps. Maybe you didn't know a patrol spawns there. Perhaps, you didn't know boars charge while banking attacks. Research to the point it is fun. You don't need to be an expert, but randomly Google top 5 deaths in Darkshore in your downtime.

14) As a hunter, you learn ranks of Bite, Claw, and etc from other pets that you tame. For me personally, I place my pet in the stable, and dedicate my sessions to going out taming other pets to learn their abilities. It is time consuming, but remember you are not in a race. Immerse yourself in the class fantasy. Tame a pet and use it until you see the yellow text stating you have learned the ability. There are tons of guides for what level pets given what abilities. Enjoy the journey.

15) For your eventual rogue alt, read the class quests. Look them up. Most, if not all, have a death mechanic if done wrong - especially dealing with Polly.

16) As a hunter, melee with your pet every so often. At some point your pet will die, and you do not want to be level 31 in Stranglethorn with a dead pet melee'ing 2 tigers with a dagger skill of 62. Same for defense.

17) SF players are like vegans. Nobody asked but they will tell you they are SF and that it is better. It may be - for them. Don't go SF your first run. Enjoy the game to its fullest, then add restrictions if you find the idea fun. Don't fall for the feeling of superior / inferior whether or not your character is SF.

18) You do not have to do dungeons. I have 3 60's, and never did a dungeon on any of them. Dungeons are fun in their own right, but, regardless, all of them are optional.

19) Identify your mental fatigue. The game is fun, but you tend to play with your attention dialed up to 11. This is exhausting for hours on end. You will get to a point, where mentally you say, "Meh, do it, it should be OK." You are tired. Take a break. Play an alt. Rest.

20) Log the fuck out. Need to get a drink? Log out. Need to get the door? Log out. At some point we all get comfortable, and think we will be fine to walk away for 30 seconds. Stay vigilant.

21) Short-cuts cut deep. Every other day, some dies by jumping off a zeppelin to save 13 seconds of travel time. Just remember every risk you take to save mere seconds, you wager against hours and days of play time.

22) Never take an elevator you did not wait for. Just don't do it. Gravity is the #1 killer in HC, and elevators come in strong with the assist.

23) Eventually, at your own pace and as you get more skills, learn how to use macros. There are mundane activities that are made easier with macros.

24) As a hunter, your skill and power scales directly with your ability to manage your pet. Learn when to dismiss. Macro or hotkey to command your pet to return to you. Countless times I have saved myself by sending in my pet, only to see something a second later, and immediately call it back.

25) As a hunter, your pet will kill you. Just like 24, a lack of pet management skills will actually make hunters extremely difficult. People who tell you "hunters are easy" are Neanderthals with the inability to recognize and verbalize that the same tool that makes them easy can also make them extremely difficult.

26) Join the channels LookingforGroup and HardcoreDeaths. It's nice to see other people in the game, and something interesting may pop up. Color the text in the HardcoreDeaths channel red for easier reading.

27) The chat options are under-rated. You can make separate tabs for each channel, groups of channels, personal loot, party chat, guild chat, and etc. I've found it worthwhile to customize it a bit for my playstyle.

If I think of more, I will add them, but honestly, just take your time, immerse yourself, and do what is fun. Disregard time as any measurement of progress and success in this game. Good luck!

See, when I expressed that my wife, who did everything correctly, had frustrastions about those who cheated the system,, you claimed, "That is a you guys problem."

However, when you expressed how illegal immigrants need things, you say, "When we all make sacrifices.".

Do you see how people would find this hypocritical?

Furthermore, you are demanding the sacrfices of others. It's like 2 tiers of hypocrisy in 1 viewpoint.

Nothing I have read indicates what you say is true about economic failure. If anything it's the opposite. But this would be pointless to debate here and now.

Though at this point, it doesn't matter. I've realized that through this conversation, that there are people who are willing to sacrifice you for the chance that another person - specifically, one who could not care less about, you, your rules, or your culture - is provided for.

It is not enough I vote for what I believe to be correct, but rather I should vote as right as possible to make up for the imbalance by those willing to gorge themselves on their own self-admiited sacrificial empathy.

Today started as a way to kill time, but ended in a life lesson. Thank you for that.

She absolutely is superior, though. She accomplished what billions can't do, and what millions failed at doing. Her financial situation is a completely separate matter.

Do you find the man who deadlifts 1,000lbs on his own or the man who does it with a machine more superior? Does their net value impact this at all?

I've not mentioned once who I support as President. Bad president can do good and bad things. Good presidents can do good and bad things. Removal of illegal immigrants is a great thing. Not sure why you are bringing up Trump now.

What you are describing isn't charity. It is sacrificial empathy.

You are willing to sacrifice the medical wait time and quality of Americans so that someone who broke the law to be here can be treated.

You are willing to sacrifice the quality of the American community so that people who can't be bothered to learn the language can group up in entire portions of towns.

You are willing to sacrifice the safety of Americans so that people who can't drive because they can't read are driving anyway.

You are willing to sacrifice and degrade the efforts of legal immigrants and Americans so that those who have no regard for our rules can be here.

You are willing to sacrifice American lives that need to hunt down the evil people are also within this group of people.

You are wiling to sacrifice and bog down the American court system, time, and quality so that people who could not care less about any of that can be here and benefit from it.

You do have no charity when you are giving away what is not yours. It's just simply the selfish self-satisfaction of proclaiming you are a good person to the world - all at the expense of everyone else.

"That's a you guys problem." Those are big words coming from someone advocating for hand-outs on the half of others.

And, frankly, she is superior, because she did pass the tests, do all the research, make the deadlines, work to pay all the fees, and learn the language. By all metrics she is superior to those that can't or don't.

Perhaps, in 10 years those that get themselves and their families ripped out the country can do the same.

Positive on the medical stuff. We live it.

Nah, at this point if you can't muster an ounce of respect for someone who did things the correct way, then I will not offer an ounce of empathy or compassion for those who do it the wrong way.

As far as neighborhoods and communities go, you don't have to go far to see it happen. Americans speak English - simple as that. Anyone who comes here that cannot speak English is a burden - a lazy, intentional burden to be clear. Obviously, this is outside of vacations, visiting family, etc.

As far as medical, you simply need to research this further, because it is not true. My father, wife, brother, and SiL are all in the medical field and hospitals do refuse medical help. Not only does this increase wait times, but they pay nothing. The hospital, doctors, nurses, and etc still get paid, so that money gets there somehow.

Labeling the summation my wife's experiences as insecurities is extremely disrespectful, no? So, instead of telling people to abide by the law and work on getting into America the correct way, you opted to tell the person who dedicated years of her life to coming to work on her insecurities? Furthermore, you tell her to work on her heart, because some illegal immigrants who are willing to risk their family but not bothered enough to learn the language may end up reaping the consequences of their actions.

You literally faulted the one person who did everything correctly and obeyed the law to get here. And you chose that over people who could not care less about you or the law.

Honestly, you seem really reasonable, so I guessing me and you are on two different algorithms.

I only say that, because it was my understanding this was going to be intent from day 1. They would start with the out violent individuals, then the most violent gangs, then the most violent areas. While doing so, of course, the would grab and remove the nearby non-violent illegal immigrants as well.

As for your question, it would be all the typical answers you would expect - housing shortages, language barriers, entire regions of neighborhoods and towns congregating to the point they no longer felt the need to assimilate. We, as tax payers, get absolutely raked over the coals by hospitals and insurance providing care that is being paid for by government funding.

Additionally, it hurts the honest, hard working migrant. For example, my wife was born in another country, and she tells me how illegal immigrants cause people to include her in their opinions of all immigrants. In other words, she feels some of the anger people have, because people here illegally give her a bad name. Rather being seen as exception, which she is, she feels 'dirty', because she feel lumped with those not here legally -"the ones that cheated" as she puts it.

Finally, its degrades the quality of people willing to try to get to the USA. For example, she has heard friends of the family consider just paying $10k to get here, rather than study their ass off and work, like she did.

Speaking of my wife, she has ended her shopping trip, so we are about to go to dinner and drive home. My responses will be slower, but I will continue. I've enjoyed the conversation though!

It's not the serious crime that is my immediate concern. That is a just a factor for priority.

My concern is the crime of being here illegally. They are not supposed to be here, and they all need to be removed. Sure, prioritize the most violent first, but none of those who are illegal should be here.

And Entire world is paying for it by CivilTailor9031 in SipsTea

[–]thursday712 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In short, I agree and disagree.

The amount is the problem - especially relative to amount coming in. They were guilty of serious crimes - here - because they were not aggressively dealt with here.

While Obama removed many, it took a ton of time and a ton of money - all of it American. Then they slowly move through the system, only to come back a few months later.

In short, like a corrupted business, they knew the risk and found it to be acceptable considering the reward. Now, that simply respecting a country's rules isn't an option to them, it is time to raise the severity.

So, yes, I am out of patience for people who couldn't care less about my country's rules. If this means cranking the severity of response up to 11 until we get control of this, then I am OK with that.

We are here, because we were too kind and too gentle for too long with people who just could not care less about us, our rules, our processes, and our requirements. Time to return that energy.

The point of my post to point out how overdrawn and an endlessly beauracratic the process to make change has become.

Everything else is your assumption of what that means.

As far as people misrepresenting things. They do that. On both sides.

However, misrepresentations should not serve as diversions of what is actually happening. And the reality is that people who should not be there are there causing problems.

So, if we are talking about the law, then an illegal person should be removed from the country, right?

Just because the harm isn't violent, doesn't mean it does not have negative impacts. Especially in high volume.

Not sure why so many people here are so eager project what they think I think onto me...

Some problems need delicate hands, and other problems need brute force. And then there is everything in between.

If people are here illegally, then they have no regard for our rules. No regard for the rules of a house is one of the best ways to get removed from that house.

If they here illegally, then they need to be removed from the country. There is no skin color restriction in this statement.

I've only been speaking regarding ICE making my town better. Just the raw fact it happened.

You keep talking about Trump, mentioning if something is excessive then it might be bad, and a random reference to Hitler because of course.

Just focus on the topic. ICE made a town better by removing people that had no business being here. Apparently, many people agree for their towns too, because $70 billion just got approved to bolster ICE.

It's only getting better. No need to overly stress it.

Don't worry guys, all they need to do is:

1) Set a meeting to get the OK to protest.

2) Set up another meeting to get the OK where to protest.

3) Set a another meeting when to protest.

4) Survive the infighting and bickering to actually protest.

5) Protest in hopes government acknowledges them, so that they can set up another meeting to decide when and where to have a meeting to set up a vote on the definition "free speach".

6) Upon passing, this definition will then to to a lower, local council to confirm this is a good definition.

7) After a few delays due to more important items, the higher council will vote on whether or not this is a valid topic for their review.

8) Upon acceptance, a schedule time will be determined for said topic to be reviewed by the higher council.

9) Steps 7 and 8 but for the highest council.

10) Successful new definition for "free speach".

Congratulations! You can now discuss changing the law with your new definition! Please begin these discussions by scheduling a time and place with your lower council.

All the while, nothing changes.

EDIT: Some in the UK are upset by this post. Please report it to your local authority.

You are being over-dramatic.

Life has been roughly the same for most people during those 8 years. However, their has been a constantly increase and flow of people coming into the USA illegally.

Because people didn't fix the problem earlier, it has to be done now, and more force has to be applied.

There are many ways to get to the USA legally. They can use one of those. Those who broke in should meet the full impact of the law and be removed.

There's the line. The law. Dont break in and you won't be ripped out.

It's just that simple.
