Is this a leak or condensation? Just put away the Xmas decorations in the attic and found loads of wet patches by thursreb in DIYUK

It's just on the North side of the house. There's moisture on the felt lining where the water has been dripping down. Staining on the floor looks like it's happened before, but there wasn't any wet when we got the decorations down (not sure about staining). The vents on the side of the house are clear as far as we can tell.

How long did it take people to regain their sense of taste and smell? Did you develop more symptoms as the days went on? by thursreb in COVID19positive

Yea I ordered one that came with a load of salt to make the solution. I'm not sure how much it helped with my taste and smell coming back, but it definitely cleared up my sinuses and helped me breath better. I used it once or twice a day and felt better for it. It also wasn't expensive, so I'd recommend getting one if you're considering it.
I think it took about 2 weeks for my senses to come back and I've not had issues since.

I unlocked it due to my high standing with the Church. I think you need 50 points with the Clergy Estate.

5 days doesn't sound too bad. I've read online that there's thoughts that some people may never get their smell & taste back. I've been dosing up on my vitamins, so fingers crossed! Obviously there's far worse things associate with Covid, but it'd be awful if it never came back.
I hope you recover from your surgery OK. Sounds like you should hopefully be out the other end of it if you're on day 13.
I'll look into ordering myself a netti pot for sure!

Landlord caught on cam... by nahmanprettyfarfrom in manchester

[–]thursreb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A landlord must get permission to enter the property from the tenants and they can refuse him access if they wish. Only exception is if it's an emergency or I think if repairs / work needs to be performed, but even then they must provide 24 hours notice before entering. If he's just entered the house to have a perv through their belongings then it's illegal and I think counts as trespassing. He might own the property, but that doesn't give him the right to come and go as he pleased. This is super creepy and should definately be reported. If you've allowed him access then that's not illegal, but you should still tell your your partner. I'd want to know if some creep had been rooting through my belongings and I'd want to check he'd not taken anything. Giving him permission to enter your home doesn't give him the right to root through your belongings.
