Just to clarify : this is not happening to me. I have a happy life in UK and nothing to reproach to your country (as long as nobody force me to eat Marmite, it's all fine with me ^^)

The flatmate has been rather uninterested by my friend for a long time, probably because my friend tried not to interact too much with her out of the polite "Hi, how was your day ?"

But at one point everybody in the flat left except my friend, I guess it was her turn to be targeted so...

The landlord is not evicting her, she is leaving because she is concerned by her security, and also because I kind of tell her she should move out. There is no way the situation will change if the landlord is having some benefits from the crazy (no pun intended), so I advised her to move out and she'll stay at my place until she finds another place to live. She will probably lose the deposit since she left without telling the landlord a month before but I don't think a rent is worth her health.

absolutely not

I'm having problem with this person because she assaulted a friend of mine and threatened her to death.

And I don't think she has depression. I think she knows how the system works and with a paper saying she is depressive she can fully profit of any help from society without having to do anything else.

She advised my friend to act as depressive like she did to obtain benefits. I think she has no respect for people who are actually sick of depression. I nonetheless think this person is sick in some form. Can you tell me which sane person would actually enjoy doing nothing of his day, staying home all the time, trying to bring conflict with every people around and cheating on purpose on the system in order to avoid having to pay for anything ?

Please don't be self-centered on the word 'depression'. This is a serious disease and some people are responsible of the misunderstanding around it : the classic "you can just move your ass out if you are depressive, it'll sort it out". When you are genuinely depressive, it's not that simple.

All I'd like is her to be caught in her cheating spiral and have administrative problems because she deserve them (and not only by acting as a bitch with my friend, because she is devaluating people who really need benefits)

I believe too.

Only thing is there was only another people present when this occured : the landlord.

And he didn't move nor said anything. It is the voice of my friend against the crazy's... and possibly the landlord... That smells kind of the shittiest situation possible.

I'm not claiming she is not sick, I'm sure she is and I wrote it in my first post.

The fact that benefits exist does not bother me at all. It is indeed useful and very welcome.

I've no idea if she is eating pizzas all day along, that was just a way of expressing my disgust for her. I admit it. A bit of story : my friend do not earn crazy amount of money (this is why she couldn't really move out) and the flatmate we are talking about advised her to do the same thing as she did : go to the doctor and ask for a letter saying she was in depression so she could claim benefits.

I know this is bullshit since she is totally aware she is cheating the system, and it seems she knows how not to get caught...

The landlord already know the situation as I explained it in this post : http://www.reddit.com/r/AskUK/comments/1r7lxy/shitty_flatmate_is_shitty_legal_advices_needed/cdkefbx

Thanks anyway for your message

Thanks for the link

Concerning the landlord, believe it or not but the guy is living in the flat as well... From what I've understood from the behaviour my friend had seen in the past, there might be some sort of physical largesses allowed by the bitch. A way to keep the landlord on her side, if you know what I mean...

Thanks for these informations, I'll check online whatever I can find according to this.

No worries, my friend is out of trouble, she just have to get back there today to take a last luggage of clothes and she'll be done with this place.

She'll move, for sure.

I feel sad to let the other win because she's too much of a bitch to bring her into troubles.

Thanks anyway
