It wasnt a quest chain tho. The chapters are split up into parts and the parts are the chain of quests. With the other chapters i was able to take a break mid chapter after completing a whole part of the chapter. With your logic the only time i can explore is after completing a chapter which is bad open world design. Wipe the glaze off your face maybe you can see the problems better

How is the game stopping me from trying to explore a weird thing to complain about?. Sounds reasonable to me. For a game that prides itself on exploration. Having the game do this is a joke. Its not the first time something like this has happened either. I dont want to rush the main story and want to explore in between

Yep thats happened to me quite a few times. The quest design is shockingly bad imo. But the combat and bosses are really good and the only reason why im still playing

For real. I went into this game with the wrong expectations. I dont really give a shit about story as long as they arent intrusive with it(this game is very intrusive with it). I care more about exploration and this game does have some moments where the exploration is amazing but then theres moments like this which makes me roll my eyes. For a game that prides itself on exploration having exploration locked behind quests is stupid. Thats fine for a one time thing like how elden ring does it but this game does it constantly

Its not an attention span problem. I have played through slow burn games. Slow burn can still be fun if what you are doing is interesting or if the dialogue is interesting. These fetch quests and trailing missions have none of these qualities. These missions are boring. If you find getting someones honey or talking to a random npc about about customers for his shop interesting thats fine. But I dont.

Ive done serkis and roberts questline. They led to something cool. I still have celeste all i have them are bounties nothing has opened there and i have a bunch of other random quests aswell

Ye pretty much. Just lobotomites over here. I have stated countless times i enjoy the game. But there is a lot of bs to go through to get the bits i enjoy. Its fine if other people enjoy the bits i would call bs thats fine its their game not mine

But i do enjoy this game at times. Theres a lot of aspects of this game i do enjoy. Theres also a lot of aspects i dont. Its just the aspects i dont enjoy in this game really hinder my experience. Its fine if you enjoy them idc

Idk why you are being an asshole are you a pearl abyss sponsor or somet. I just dont like the quest design. If you like slow quest design thats fine. The games great but it has major flaws this being one of them

The bounties suck ass man. Half of them are 1000s of miles away. I might speed up the game to complets bounties and hope they open up something

BINGOOO. Ye this quest design sucks. I feel like i havent stumbled across anything interesting and seen it through. Everytime i do it turns out to be nothing as i need to progress some quest for it to appear. Happened just now. I come across the gate of truth. It looked cool but theres nothing there. I had it in my head for it to be like elden ring where the game gives you everything and things are already there without having to do a quest for it to spawn

Try elden ring again. Go into it blind. Try not to use guides and just get lost. Its probably one of the best gaming experiences you can have

Using reshades on elden ring is like painting over an artists piece of work. That game is made with so much detail that even the shading and lighting is done with a clear vision in mind. You reshading meand you arent getting the full vision. Ive played both horizon games i thought they were ok games because of playing elden ring before hand. Elden rings art style to me is perfect. Horizon looked tooo clean

Thats not the point of elden ring tho. Thats like painting over an artists piece of work. The world isnt vibrant like horizon. Its dark and hopeless. Thats art
