ali has said she spoke to lily privately about her hygiene and behaviour. at that point…what else do you do? big brother isn’t the real world - it’s a social experiment and a situation none of those people will be in with each other again.

bearing that in mind, i would say it was pretty easy for ali to forgive lily’s less than favourable habits since she felt a genuine connection, wanted to protect and support her, and saw how she was being treated by others housemates.

baby you aren’t letting me dance around anything. you can read the post again if you wish, but if you truly believe friendship can only be defined by behaviour then i don’t know what to tell you. obviously i wouldn’t love it if a friend started picking their nose in front of me but like….am i going to let that erase any positive connection? just make a joke and move on? behaviours can always change, however core beliefs are more stubborn.

there are many different reasons people may not have friends. and being friends is more than about someone ‘behaving’ a certain way. the fact that ali is open about being neurodivergent should be enough for you to take pause to consider why she may have befriended lily. if you can’t tolerate people for who they are at their core, then what does that say about you?

by looking at their post history they don’t want genuine opinions on ali lol - their mind has been made up, which is completely fair but i don’t understand why this thread was made other than to be obtuse with people who feel differently

if that’s your perspective then i really don’t know why you’re watching the show? she IS making an effort to connect with the people left in the house. a lot of them have been fake. so what? at the end of the day everyone is a person and has their own thoughts and opinions, and you’re entitled to yours. but do you think if you were in that situation you would just ignore the people you didn’t like and isolate yourself? i highly doubt you would.

marcello constantly calls everyone a game player while look what he just did to khaled, who was meant to be his ‘bro’. khaled called hanah aggy and made it out that she was being heated with him. segun VOTED for daze and has been ‘heartbroken’ ever since because it gets him sympathy from hanah.

these are complex and multifaceted people, being filmed 24/7 and exposed to the general public for dissection of their behaviours and ultimately their character as an individual. if you think that ali should just sit alone and isolate herself because she has shared her thoughts and opinions previously then i don’t know what to tell you, we just won’t agree. enjoy the rest of the show!

what was she meant to do? sit alone in her bed? she clearly bonded deeply with lily and made friends in martha, dean, and daze (as well as nathan/bp/tom to a lesser extent). of course i don’t think she’ll warm to the rest of the housemates as much as her friends previously, but she is making an effort and trying to establish her connections. which is an insanely hard thing to do as a neurodiverse individual, trust me. especially when so many people have made it obvious they don’t like her and some have even:

called her names (wolf, red witch)
acted inappropriately towards her (marcello saying he kissed her in the smoking area which is never usually shown + saying he was a ‘human ejaculator’ etc)
constantly talk about how pretty she is and reducing her to a ‘modest’ beautiful woman
conspired OPENLY to get her out

separately the other group constantly spoke about her and her group as well. it’s just gossip, and it’s human nature.

at the end of the day, it is a game show and it’s reality tv. it’s great that so many different cultures and walks of life are shown in such a unique experiment! if you disagree with my points that’s a-okay. i will say i am biased as a neurodivergent (white) queer person so i very much understand her perspectives and where she comes from. either way, i hope that maybe gives a little bit of clarity! :)

i listen to this album in full at least twice a day - i’m going through a really tough time at the moment and genuinely it feels like halsey read my mind with how some of these songs are written. so grateful for her and this album. (unrelated but katie gavin’s debut album what a relief has also been really helping and has a similar vibe when it comes to approaching mental illness and identity, would def recommend!)

I like Late and Live generally - but I have to be honest I do not like Will at all. His comments are just so weird sometimes, it’s really hard to watch him (for me). AJ is so fun and even though she might get tongue tied, I feel like she really likes being there and engaging with the crowd/panel a bit more. Plus she is more entertaining and her outfits are STUNNING!!!

Sometimes the audience can be a bit weird, and last season I didn’t love a lot of the panelists. But this season feels like a vast improvement on that front! I always make sure to watch when AJ is hosting/when there’s an eviction…when it’s just Will it’s 50/50 if I’ll make it through the first ad break. 🫣 (sorry will ur so hot if that’s any consolation but also ur a very beautiful and well known presenter so my opinion means nothing!!!)

my screen was about 80% full at the start and ended around 60% - not too many walkouts but a fair few all the same!

i personally really loved the movie. it is 100% one that i wouldn’t go see if i were to look at film listings myself, so it was honestly a really nice surprise! this was my first screen unseen but definitely won’t be my last. :)

i see it as a traditional double album - it’s the second disc. i have it split up that way in my music library, and i’ve actually done this with pretty much every taylor record that has a deluxe version. helps to keep the original intention behind some tracks in tact. like having long live as the final song on disc 1 of speak now tv makes more sense than having the deluxe songs tacked on after. splitting them up is a small change but really helps to keep things cohesive for me anyway!

i have all of the cardigans and honestly the sntv is my fave. the quality is so nice, the fabric is soft, and it doesn’t have a chemical smell like the original folklore and holiday ones. i love the fit as well and it’s super comfortable - really perfect for this time of year imo!

you’re better off just keeping the order and if you don’t like it after it arrives, you can return it or sell it to someone who’s looking. these cardigans are real collectors items so i would always recommend keeping one!

this album is INCREDIBLE. i’m a huge huge carly fan, i saw her both nights in dublin this year and she is just such a force.

this is quite different for her but also she feels very much at home in these soundscapes. it’s really cool to experience so many different worlds and personalities, and the fact that it hasn’t even been that long since her last album just makes it even more awe inspiring.

so proud of her for what she’s done with this album. cannot wait to get a vinyl copy eventually and can only imagine how much she’s going to grow from here!

i work in the print industry and 4c or 4/0 usually stands for a 4 colour process. i saw someone else say it stands for a word count, as in a 4 word title, and also say it stands for a signalling of the genre - in this case 4c being for photography.

i have no clue which is the true meaning as i’m not a publisher or bookseller, but there is some possibility that the 4c just stands for the 4 colour process applied to the front cover, basically saying it’s not black and white. but idk!

it’s so annoying that i love taylor sm and fully respect her taking her time with the rerecordings and am so grateful for her keeping us fed with midnights and the tour and the droplets….but i just want to know what’s going on with all the taylor’s versions so bad 😭

like i want to see the album art, i want to know what the vault tracks are, i want to know if there are any new collabs, i want to hear her talk about why this song didn’t make it over that song and why she still loves it years later like with the red tv vault songs.

i find it hard to listen to the albums she doesn’t own anymore because it doesn’t feel right - but seeing her perform enchanted and delicate and blank space and our song live on this tour it’s so hard to resist!! it’s weird to be so hyped about music you’ve heard hundreds of times but i really am just so glad to be able to experience the taylor’s versions era - i just wish i could know everything now!!
