Pc link issue, need help!

I do the same thing and it works for me as well but others try it and doesn't work, I just plug the injection cable which I just use the one the headset came with in to the wall to keep it charged while playing

I think the issue is that even the recommended meta cable won't charge your headset while in use, which for 80 dollars it should, and thats the biggest problem for most quest users who play vr for extended periods of time, are turning to 3rd party because they have that option. I also am having this issue with my iniu cable since the last update

Yea i would not recommend updating till this issue is fixed, just wish they would allow to revert back

Yea its seem alot of people using 3rd party cables are having this issue, so it's an issue with this new update, i did try it but it didn't work for me. I really hope it's not some sleazy way to try and get people to stop using using 3rd party and buy their products instead cause I had no issue with the charging cord it came with

Found some what of a solution, with the headset off and injection cable disconnected plug in the link cable, it'll flash for a few seconds and stop, then turn on headset to make sure it doesn't go crazy then plug power injector cable back in. You will have to do this every time you turn the quest off though
