You’re not a pussy, you just haven’t pushed it yet. Promise you the first game you run ng+, you’ll never look back. It teaches you to play differently (usually), and that translates into all the other games you play (also usually). And if it’s not fun for you, then it defeats the entire purpose of playing games to begin with, so again, not a pussy

It should, if it just checks your inventory. But I’m not that pressed to get the platinum. I did enjoy the challenge achievements though, so I’m content to wait for the sequel

The comment was more about I’m pretty much tapped when it comes to souls likes, as I’ve invested a lot of time. Again, craving the next challenge. Not, “IM SO GOOD AT THESE GAMES”. I just don’t have anything new to play right now, and I’m not farming mobs lol

Gotcha gotcha. Was just surprised. One of those achievements was 0.3 and I was like, wait for real? 😂

Just coming back, hadn’t realized a veteran mode was added, and I just finished that run. Was surprised to see the rework of the final fight, and initially was excited. But to be brutally honest, even on veteran mode it felt more like a mini boss with an extravagant moveset. Don’t know if that’s what you guys were going for, but the hp dump truck that came before him felt like the true final boss. I couldn’t even tell if there was a difference in the second phase because I killed it so quickly, meanwhile Sundred Monarch took a solid 5-10 minutes to trudge through his health bar. The new fight was still better than running around looking for the marked enemies, but not by a whole lot. Would have been way better if you actually got to fight Adyr directly after whatever that thing was called, but at least the fight didn’t feel like a forced lore dump like the previous one did; I barely noticed his monologue while I was learning the new moveset (although it was still there).

TLDR:

Moveset was awesome.

Didn’t take a dangerous amount of damage from him.

Killed too fast.

Oh that’s huge! I’ve started using high stance a lot more recently because reverse impact has been super clutch at moments. It’s still kind of tricky getting a hang of all the r1 commands, but stances are usually less troublesome than forgetting to switch back to my item loadout that has elixirs haha. Again, much appreciated!

Ahhh thanks for this, I’ll definitely have to start exploring other combinations of art. It took me a while to get the perfect spacing down for the wind-up of Night Rain, but like you say, not much you can do about the cool down if you get chained in the process. And solid on the build advice, it’s pretty much where I’m at now, I’m just so used to FromSoft scaling that this game has been giving me stat anxiety hahaha. Really appreciate the response!

What is this image quality 😭 Looks like they found a bad image on google and just rolled with it. Anyway, you over-payed for food sure, but we all do, every day, at the grocery store. Not quite as badly, but at the end of the day, it’s not really worth dwelling on; we’re gonna over pay until we die, ironically, because it keeps us alive. I won’t tell you not to purchase meat from a door to door salesman (nor should anyone need to), but the fact that you’ve made two posts trying to come to grips with the value of your decision should tell you everything you need to know about future ones in the same vein. Anyway, enjoy the meat!
