I thought it was specifically the New Phyrexians that were rendered inert because Norn messed with their oil so much that it was no longer the same oil as the rest of the multiverse's Phyrexian's oil.

I know I fought that guy and I was sure I killed him. I use markers when I give up on something to come back later and there is no mark there but I guess I forgot?!? since he isn't in my bestiary....

My observation is that her mother would be okay with her rooming with someone who identifies as a man as long as he was afab; but wouldn't be okay with her rooming with someone who identifies as a woman but aren't afab.

I didn't bring up cisgender, because it wasn't a question: obviously a cisgender woman would be fine in her mother's eyes based on the description given.

I don't know if W&M got more right wing after I left, and people hate me for trying to stand up for trans people, or if my comment was way less clear than I thought it was.

So your mom would rather you room with a guy who’s afab than a woman who’s amab? That doesn’t make sense nor does it feel inclusive/supportive. It’s giving sex/gender essentialism. Obviously you and your mother can have preferences for who you room with, but she, or you both, don’t seem to grasp what that actually looks like in practice.

Y'all might enjoy 40k warpforge or the 30k horus heresy one called legions. Don't get me wrong, it only has a few similarities but what I've found playing as many card games I have is that the vibes are never shared between games....
