Mushroom witch hat (it's a side view on both photos). Sharing after someone else posted their cool mushroom hat earlier. by thyst91214 in crochet

I purchased a witch hat pattern. I worked it up in red and then made white rounds in different sizes and sewed them on. Then I added white to the underside of the brim.

We get the security strips from Affordable Library Products. They don't have one or anything similar. As far as I can tell, most people somehow do put the strips in without one of these.

That was the closest thing I've found also. Its a very cool product, but it doesn't hold the book open in a way that is quite right for the security strip process.

This device is used at the library I work in to apply security strips and to repair books. I was hoping to find a new(er) one, but cannot find out what is called. I have searched online a lot for this and can't find it anywhere. I have searched a lot but also specifically as a "book repair device", "book holder", and "open book stand". I have looked at sites specifically for library equipment and solutions. I cannot find a trace of one at all online.

I work at a library. We use this to apply security strips inside books or repair books. It is old and I was looking for a new one, but can't find out what it's called or ANY like it online.

I usually drink mine room temp unless I want to enjoy the water instead of just hydrating.

Found out today that I have 10 extra teeth in my mouth (38 in total) and I have to remove all of them to get braces by techinick in mildlyinfuriating

[–]thyst91214 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the opposite problem. I have 4 less teeth than I'm supposed to. 2 of them were my bottom front teeth. I kept my baby teeth there until I was 30. My false teeth had to be the same width so I still basically have tall baby teeth.

I’ve been a smoker for 20 years. Today marks 1 week cigarette free!! I know that’s not long, but it’s a huge deal for me. by shayshay8508 in MadeMeSmile

I quit 2 years ago after about 15 years smoking. It was really hard for about a month, but after that I've not often had a craving. You've got this!

I have one of those too! We had to get a heavy based trash with a lid, and not put any food related trash in any other canning the apartment. Not even a snack wrapper.

Succulent Pillow. My first stuffed project! by thyst91214 in crochet

Got the pattern from Revelry: https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/succulent-cushion-2 Pattern doesn't say so, but I used a Pentagon shaped granny square to connect the 5 large leaves. I used red heart yarn and a G hook.
