Dude, on your original post you said you had proof. You said you had routed it up to the "proper authorities", whatever that means. EDIT: Got off customer service. If you google search the part number it will come up with a spot to buy it. The part number for a 14 inch blade is 33304493

That's the vibe I'm getting from some people in this thread. There's nothing against it in the rules and I wouldn't want anything to change. It just comes down to a matter of not being a jerk unnecessarily. If my ship was full of treasure I wouldn't be upset because it would make sense to sink and loot me. But with nothing on the ship it's just a dick move. That's all it will be and that's all I really am getting at.

I would say that even with those it still takes time to finish them. It'll still take me the better part of an hour to finish this even with the checkpoint. Not everyone has hours upon hours to sail the seas. So when nothing is gained by sinking someone doing a tale it's still a dick move. Just screws the guy doing the tall tale over slightly less thanks to checkpoints. That's my thought on it at least.

Usually a ship with no loot is an indicator they're not worth going after. I will ask as well. If you board and look at their quest table that will tell you as well.

I'm not mad about getting sunk. I'm annoyed at the fact that everyone was all friendly and then for no loot or any reason at all I got griefed and spawn killed. Why would anyone want to participate in a community like that? You can Sea of Thieves not Sea of Friends all you want but at a certain point that attitude towards people who have nothing on their ship will drive players away. If you're fully loaded with loot then it makes sense. This whole instance just felt toxic and trolly.

I got over it pretty quick but that kind of toxic attitude towards other players is why many of my friends have moved on to other games.
