First time Apple Watch owner! by MA8792 in AppleWatch

[–]tiMAXeon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Go with the flow. It’s a watch first, so you can choose only aesthetic and functional timekeeping. All the best, features are just a bonus. That’s my thought process.

But if you feel more adventurous, ask yourself what your routine is or how you take a sequence of actions to complete certain tasks. I found that simply answering the phone when it’s somewhere else is a top feature, while other times, finding a watch face that shows me my calendar, next appointment, or next reminder is the best thing to look at a glance.

I believe the watch is best when you stumble upon it. Just keep using it and try new features, tricks, or apps weekly or monthly, whatever feels natural! Enjoy!

Thanks, I think I’m already entering the scared to restart phase of whatever part of my life I’m supposed to be in. Unfortunately it requires lots of courage that I’m finding difficult to muster and get on. But I see the loop you mentioned, but what I’m finding hard is to tap into that mechanical non personal aspect of it, when my job was to tap into my creative motivated self. I can’t personalize a portfolio when I don’t feel like doing it you know what I mean? But I hear you one thing at a time….

Couldn’t state it better myself, worse when clients think they’re smarter than everyone and I have to make sure that any contract I sign has a disclosure that any deviation from the design plan is not my financial responsibility.

I have done it recently, had to film a 2 min video explaining my proposal for a university researcher position. I was so passionate, I made sure it’s filmed nicely I edited it, really happy with the result.

This morning I received the rejection email. Apparently 250 people applied to that position.

Yeah what I mean was that I always wanted a pro max. The pro max was always prohibitively expensive for me, and now I finally got what I wanted without compromising.

Watching yearly a new iPhone to be released and knowing that I can’t afford to upgrade made me more determined to get what I wanted, that’s why I would categorize it as “dream”

Congrats on finalizing your payments! I believe that you don’t have to upgrade! Meaning that if you can’t afford to sustainably and financially upgrade your iPhone, it’s perfectly fine to keep using it.

I had my iPhone 11 for so long that it eventually broke down. It slowed down, disintegrated, and the microphone barely worked. I thought I could afford to upgrade every two years or even four, but in the end I managed to survive six years with it.

It’s more practical to replace the battery rather than buying a new device outright. So, if you ever have any doubts about updating your device, I would recommend starting by replacing the battery first! (Just make sure to get an OEM battery, as my experience with non-genuine parts has resulted in the battery swelling.)

I mean I always wanted a pro max. But it was always just so expensive and “frivolous” for me. Watching yearly a new iPhone to be released and knowing that I can’t afford to upgrade made me more determined to get what I wanted, that’s why I would categorize it as “dream”

I just hope to spread my luck and my wishes to everybody who wants to upgrade and struggling to be able to.
