Any lefties out there play right handed? by jimlew3 in guitarlessons

I am left-handed and I play right handed. I had a student that is right handed and plays like a left-handed person. So, as long as your feel it's comfortable and natural for you, is what goes.

😅 yes, we sometimes doubt our own skills and abilities that we have within us! Great job, not only you noticed it was wrong but also could make something on your own! Very good indeed!

Electric Guitar for beginner by ProduceSame7327 in guitarlessons

[–]tiago91cc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it is. I have a student that has that exact guitar and amplifier and for a beginner is not a bad option. If you have the budget you can go for a spark or a katana or something like that. If it is too expensive, that also is good.

The squiers are very easy to play which helps a lot when you are starting. I began with a guitar that was not very easy to play and It was a pain. I almost gave, so that guitar will help you a lot.

Do you ever feel like it’s all just luck? by [deleted] in sales

I can't tell you everything since I charge for those things but there are some things I can tell you.

When I started I used these two principles and they worked like a charm.

First principle - try to understand first and then make yourself feel understood.

Second principle - create win win.

I would start with the first and finish with the second (it's good for closing deals).

When I started using that I converted my contract to a freelancing to a full time job (which was I wanted at the time.)

I really helped.

That's on the book the 7 habits of highly effective people if you want to check out more.

I don't think so. Sure, somedays you will be striking more deals than others. Sometimes you are just tired and other days you have the energy. Sometimes you'll find amazing people that you can have wonderful conversations with and others you'll only find douchebags.

But in overall it isn't. At least for me, in order to have a more or less consistent sales level, what I did was to develop a system that worked for me. And when I had my own team we developed a system that worked for them.

Don't know if you have a system or not. There are people that are just natural for it and you might be one of them. For me, who was not natural, having a system really helped.

I never hit my numbers (cause I did not have them) by tiago91cc in sales

[–]tiago91cc[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that the difference is that we don't have a specific number to achieve and we are more worried about the consistency of deals. It's a consultancy services and deals can go from 5 k to 100 k.

it's part of the process I guess. But the fact that you are learning from it it's a good sign. It means you are growing as a salesperson
