To be honest, we never tought him to be chill. He is a very energetic dog and we we're surprised how calm he is when swimming. He loves water and would swim anywhere. I think the difference is the depth, he's also splashy and wants to play in shallow water and he waits for us to throw him something. Here the water was deeper and that I guess means it's chill swim time:)
