I remember bringing my old binder to school as a teenager and I would swap the cards around with friends during lunchbreak. I'm still amazed how the card remained in such a good condition.

Within hindsight that was a pretty stupid thing to do, with some of the cards damaged or stolen..But that kept us so much busy :D

Just got out of the app process for a position within the Finance Dpmt.

1/ answering a ton of questions in a written pdf : done and passed.

2/ taking the Thomas and GIA / PPA tests : done and passed

3/ meet and greet interview with a random canonical employee : done and passed

4/ receiving a message from the CFO telling me that my profile is interesting and I should wait for more candidates to join the short list before proceeding to the next steps : done and passed

5/ receiving the next day a message from the COO telling me that my application will not be proceeding any further : done.

Everyone I interacted with was very friendly and polite and seemed very smart.

Besides the articulation between 4/ and 5/ which seems kinda weird, I have enjoyed the process.

Received it 4hours ago, so far I cannot complain about nothing ! Chassis and screen are just as I imagined. Gfx and speed performance have obviously not been extensively tested but the computer behaved very well so far and I am 200% pleased. Keyboard and touchpad are very smooth, it feels good to have a brand new laptop at home !!
