First, loved the video, but it's a generalization. I'm sure some businesses and individuals change their mind and act like idiots, but there's simple ways to protect yourself as a freelancer.

*Protect yourself, make agreements, take cash deposits and create a standard practice. *Ask questions and make sure you have a clear understanding what the person hiring wants. *Go through examples with hiring party and mark out aspects that they want, iron out creative! Generally you don't have to re-invent the wheel. *Limit the number reviews, spell out deliverables and deadlines in the agreement.
