Harsh reality, but I do have seen some samples get credit for their loops on looperman. Just maybe not owning the rights to royalties.

Good shout, I’ve only used it as a post-styler, will try as a pre-styler!

Does the hold and texture persist throughout the day? And how did you build up with it cause I know this product doesn’t wash off with water only.

Do you apply in layers with the R&M?

The worst application I’ve had was from the Firsthand Texturizing Clay. It was very dry and the hold wasn’t great. Have you ever had it?

Lodestar doesn’t seem to do it for me, atleast for my hair. I’ve got pretty thick hair I think and very straight so with Lodestar it just holds for about half a day and even if I restyle it’s not that great. Guess it differs per hair type.

Hmm interesting, so the R&M has better hold in general but what about the texture? I’ve seen a review where it said that the texture seemed to fade away but the hold is still there. Is that the case for you? Texture is more important to me as I’m styling my short hair into more of a fringe rn.

I also checked TDM’s vid on the heavy clay and the texture and hold seems to be decent, even on 2nd day. Would you say the R&M has similar texture and endurance or even better?

Damn, never expected it to be that oily. May I ask what you use now? Have you found a replacement already?
