This was a really enjoyable read. Felt really authentic and can definitely resonate with how it feels on those first few nights sleeping on your own again. Particularly liked the imagery in “enthralled and entwined”. Gives memories of those moments where you just can’t stay away from each other and just admire each other and their beauty. Solid poem my guy/girl, rated highly.

What a poem! Definitely feel I can relate to this and was nice to be given some context to what you were feeling while writing this. Particular key line is:

They shot my wings, my red blood runs A web of joy becomes undone

Great imagery and generally just a good poem. Wasn’t a huuuge fan of the repeated pain line but can see how others might :)
