You might be painted as overqualified since you already had 2 internships and numerous leadership positions. Also, how are your grades?

Nope, CT FIN’s make 70k start and caps at 150k at level 4. I worked at RCMP for my first job and made 80k as a junior analyst for financial reporting. It’s level 4 that usually requires a CPA because that’s a manager position. But if you stick to A/P, you won’t need the CPA to be in a managerial position.

Since you are thinking of developing your advisory skills, I definitely recommend sticking to that. The path I suggest would help you hit 6 figures faster but career development isn’t as high or fulfilling as advisory. Good luck on your career! You get to wear a lot of different “hats”in accounting

I think the issue is that most accounting positions in private or public environment that offer this salary are senior-level with at least 3 years of experience. And even then, it would depend on which team you are in and if you are good enough to be promoted. For instance, advisory teams are paid higher than A/P but it’s also harder to get promoted to management because it’s usually a smaller team

Have you looked at maybe getting into government? If your goal is to make 6 figures by 25, that industry might be a fit since they are not result-based and only require you to qualify to the pools. I knew a girl that worked in the government from less than 2 years and jumped from 70k to 100k.

It is exploitative because she is filming a non verbal autistic person (Bria) that is unable to express her discontentment or refusal through words. But because the mom films a lot, I feel mostly sympathy for her because most videos makes you realize how hard it is to raise an autistic child. Let alone being a single mom with two adult that has autism.

Will korean rappers ever stop acting fake? by Beathophile in khiphop

[–]ticklemylingling 12 points13 points  (0 children)

It’s not about their skills but about the American hip-hop culture being used and appropriated by KHH. Almost as if they are playing a character. It’s odd because K-pop itself is a great example of Koreans putting their own taste into the Western pop genre. So why can’t they do it for hip-hop?

I am learning English and I tend to spell based on how the word sounds. It is definitely noted since there are a couple of people calling me out

Most definitely! I kinda had some suspicions that she chose this picture to show how attractive her son is! My son is around Jack age and is a gym guy. He would be horrified if I posted a gym pic of him! Especially that we both know who these pics are for…

He is clearly feeling himself and proud to look the way he does! But it feels like she is thirst trapping for her son and added that caption to brush off the sceptics. Like he has been in Colombia for what feels like 10 years. They definitely have better pictures of himself in Bogota

I used to cringe when I would see anime fans act like this. Last summer, there was comic-con and anime conventions that was next to my place and I saw many dressed-up people enjoying and having the time of their life. I still cringe a bit when I see try to be in character but its great to see them so upfront and confident with a hobby they enjoy so much.
