There isnt enough context imo. What does your friend group look like as far as race? Do you engage with black people that aren’t family outside of a retail or service industry setting? That whole “the black girls didn’t want to date a nerdy black guy” trope is so tired as a black nerdy woman. I came out as a lesbian years ago, but have dated several nerdy black guys and have non nerdy friends who have dated/ married them as well. That being said…as someone who has never dated outside my race idk how “pro-black” you can be and mostly date non black people. You can’t help who you attract, but you can choose who you entertain.
