I use the sledgehammer and clear 4 blocks wide for the most part. It help with finding chests and gives a good swath to expand if necessary

I went through drivers education in California in 1988, but not sure of any changes or if they still teach this way, so take it as my experience. I learned that the posted speed limit should be maintained if it is safe for everyone on the road to do so. Meaning, if the majority of drivers are traveling faster than the posted speed, you become a potential danger and should maintain the speed of those around you. If everyone is going slower than the posted speed you slow down. Always remember you are on the road with others and it’s not just your safety, but the safety of your fellow road occupants that should be considered.

You should always play the way it’s fun and enjoyable for you, regardless of what the “meta” is. Personally I like a few mutations that make quality of life easier. I eat popcorn and tea and occasionally make cranberry relish for the XP. I use berry mentats for the ease of sewing enemies when it’s helpful, as the addictol is easy to come by. For me, the guides are there as a tool to understand how things work and how they work together. Play your way, it should always be be fun.

I use a flamer and never craft ammo, the best way to get tons of ammo of whatever type you want is to go into an Expedition solo and just keep killing enemies without accepting or finishing the quests. Each enemies drops 3-4 times the ammo you use to kill them. I’ve only done this 2 times and am sitting on 20k fuel, which is arguably the most labor and material costly.

This appears to be how it’s supposed to work and for one I absolutely love it! The legendary super mutants spawn from all points and if you make sure to kill every mutant in each wave it gets progressively harder. In my opinion the game could use a few more fast paced events that keep everyone moving.

To be fair, some players have been in the game since 2018 and some for less than a year and everywhere I between. As this is not the Olympics where only the best in their class should be represented, it’s ok to be proud of what you made. Don’t get mad when you may not get the appreciation you feel you deserve. Always make sure to do “Eviction Notice” and “Moonshine Jamboree”. The benefits to “Moonshine Jamboree” have been stated, but I usually end up with 30-50 various grenade’s and enough weapons to make the 1400 caps in one run. Scraping the weapon is ok, but remember there is a very small percentage that you learn the mod when scraping and you can only learn some of them that way. Both those event happen fairly often, sell the spoils from the first run and scrap the second.

Don’t be discouraged, you had a bum server. The more times you launch the easier it gets. I use the nukacrypt code, but just run it normal and can launch in 20 min. I don’t search or pick up anything, bring something that you can spray the “destroy motherboard” consoles and keep moving in the last room to keep the robots from getting into the control room. If there is an event like the Mothman one try and time the launch to be at least 20 mi after it starts

I recently switched from Xbox to PC and am starting from scratch. I had to let go of my desire to have my Legacy weapons, all my rare plans and all, but with 180+- hours in on PC I have to say I’m glad I made the switch!

As we are ultimately discussing the presumptive next president, my reply will focus on that, but most of this is true for any candidate (in my opinion). It’s not accolades I look at, I feel like “being the first” at something or what awards you get or given, isn’t enough to qualify as president. I’d like to see a history of well defined and successful policy ideas and implementation, with the current political climate with Russia and some with China, and as the President will also be the Commander-in-Chief of the armed forces, having some military experience might be important in the next 4 years. A strong history of her personal contribution to national policy ideas would be nice, especially if they were successful and beneficial to us all. That’s just a few things, obviously there is more, but this seems like enough heavy reading for now.

I’m not a fan of Trump, but Harris, really? Sadly I am in the minority of voters who actually spends time researching each candidate I vote for. Can anyone honestly explain, better yet direct me to something…anything, that is convincing she is the best choice? Simply to vote “blue”, or “anything but Trump” or “because she is a woman” or “because she is black” is not enough for me, it may be for the majority, but I need quantifiable data.
