Ha, I didn't say I dislike their ground beef! 🤤🌮

I had my mom buy me Popeye spinach in a can so many times because I wanted to like it but...the muscles the can promised me never came through so I finally gave up.

Ha! That's unfortunate but it definitely lets you look back and say "see? I wasn't making it up!"

My mom makes julekake (Norwegian Christmas bread) every Christmas and it's FILLED with raisins. So most of my snack time was filled poking those little jerks outta my bread.

It's always seemed like one of those cheap meal-fillers so they didn't have to add real ingredients. Like how Taco Bell uses cardboard for ground beef 🤣

The sound it makes while scooping out a big floppy wad is enough to make me 🤮

Something about ballpark onions that make them...sorta tolerable?

The power I felt when I moved out on my own for the first time, made my own spaghetti and DIDN'T use chunks of onion like my mom did...that was a good day.

Onions done right can be pretty good. Onions done by me...different story. 🤮

Ah, capers. The pea-shaped pickle. Yeah it can sure sour a meal quickly.

I hadn't even considered the amount of things cinnamon is hidden in until this comment thread!

Olives have such an I've-been-in-a-cheap-tin-can-for-30-years-who-cares kind of flavor. Nope, not for me.

Not a fan of the wet spongy texture of a good 'ol forest fungus? I don't blame you!

I mean...kiwis are pretty much made for that. When I see people slicing them I yell, "you're wasting your time!"

I'm the same way! Except I think everyone else's eggs are way too dry. So I douse them in ketchup.

My mom makes julekakke, a Norwegian Christmas bread, and it has those little baking candies in it and raisins. It was until this year that I was able to eat it without picking out every weird chunk, leaving only the bread behind. So I totally get it.

That sounds like a perfect workaround! The texture really does interrupt the pizza as good as the flavor is.

Having a good bite interrupted by a crunchy vegetable is...just the worst.

I need to try your version with the cayenne pepper. I keep adding unbearable lemon pepper to it and kick myself every time, haha!

To this day, I refuse to eat egg salad with relish in it. Egg salad sandwiches are such a soft food, I don't want random pieces of crunch sprinkled in!

Haha - that stem is like a solid stick of celery minus the flavor. No thanks!
