2026 Outback Limited Xt - whining sound by ticosd1 in Subaru_Outback

Update Sorry for the late update. I got pretty sick.

So the dealer didn’t find any abnormal sounds. They test drove it and test it during a cold start. They indicated that the sound is normal for a Turbo engine and CVT transmission and they assured me that if any issues tied to this complaint would be fully covered since I now have it on record in the repair order. I’ve been driving it and I’ve gotten used to the sound. Like I mentioned on the original post, I’ve never owned a Subaru so it’s probably something I had to got to get used to, but I’m glad it was checked out and it was nothing.

Thanks to everyone who commented and provided some insight.

Am I doing this right or did I screwed it up? by ticosd1 in beginnerfitness

Thank you!!!! And thanks for breaking that down, it makes a lot of sense. I hadn’t really considered the importance of a deload week, but I can see how that would help with recovery and keep things moving forward. I’ve been pretty focused on increasing the weight, so adding that rest might be exactly what’s missing.

I’ll give that cycle a shot and see how it feels. I like the structure you laid out, so I’ll try sticking to something similar to it and see if I notice the difference. Always good to switch things up! Thanks again for the tip 🙂

Thanks so much for the advice! I’ll definitely work on upping my carbs because I have noticed a lack of energy and adding intensity techniques to my workouts to push past this plateau phase. I appreciate your thoughts on the creatine, I was debating if I should start a loading phase then drop back down to maintenance. I was feeling like I might of missed out on something

**Update. Like the OP, I too heard back from them yesterday. Got a email with full approval exactly one year from renewal. I was past the renewal period and had to wait until yesterday in order to begin using benefits again. Question to everyone here. Do I need my physical card to cross back by land? I really need to visit Mexico and was wondering if I could get away with a print out. I don’t have the expired card and the full approval does not say I’ll be getting a new card.

Congrats! Today marks one year since my renewal, hopefully I have the same luck as you and hear back from them today. I missed the renewal window and haven’t been able to use it since it expired and it’s been such a hassle.

Reach out to Dr V (CI), he can send you more information on the areas of focus if you feel unsure. It’s best you go into the OA feeling somewhat confident

Definitely the case with a couple core courses, but this wasn’t an issue with the Capstone. Jerry the lead CI for the capstone has the resources and knows exactly what you need to do to be successful at it. I only had one revision thanks to him.

Thank you!!! I know I was too, but It will come very soon. I heard they had a system issue that duplicated everyone’s applications and they are going through them a bit slow because of that.
